سورة Al-Jinn
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ
Say,
أُوحِىَ
"It has been revealed
إِلَىَّ
to me
أَنَّهُ
that
ٱسْتَمَعَ
listened
نَفَرٌ
a group
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْجِنِّ
the jinn,
فَقَالُوٓا۟
and they said,
إِنَّا
"Indeed, we
سَمِعْنَا
heard
قُرْءَانًا
a Quran
عَجَبًا amazing, يَهْدِىٓ It guides إِلَى to ٱلرُّشْدِ the right way, فَـَٔامَنَّا so we believe بِهِۦ in it, وَلَن and never نُّشْرِكَ we will associate بِرَبِّنَآ with our Lord أَحَدًا anyone.
وَأَنَّهُۥ And that He - تَعَٰلَىٰ Exalted is جَدُّ (the) Majesty رَبِّنَا (of) our Lord - مَا not ٱتَّخَذَ He has taken صَٰحِبَةً a wife وَلَا and not وَلَدًا a son, وَأَنَّهُۥ And that he كَانَ used to
يَقُولُ speak - سَفِيهُنَا the foolish among us عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah شَطَطًا an excessive transgression. وَأَنَّا And that we ظَنَنَّآ thought أَن that لَّن never تَقُولَ will say ٱلْإِنسُ the men
وَٱلْجِنُّ and the jinn, عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah كَذِبًا any lie. وَأَنَّهُۥ And that كَانَ (there) were رِجَالٌ men مِّنَ among ٱلْإِنسِ mankind يَعُوذُونَ who sought refuge بِرِجَالٍ in (the) men
مِّنَ from ٱلْجِنِّ the jinn, فَزَادُوهُمْ so they increased them رَهَقًا (in) burden. وَأَنَّهُمْ And that they ظَنُّوا۟ thought كَمَا as ظَنَنتُمْ you thought أَن that لَّن never يَبْعَثَ will raise
ٱللَّهُ Allah أَحَدًا anyone. وَأَنَّا And that we لَمَسْنَا sought to touch ٱلسَّمَآءَ the heaven فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا but we found it مُلِئَتْ filled (with) حَرَسًا guards
شَدِيدًا severe, وَشُهُبًا and flaming fires. وَأَنَّا And that we كُنَّا used to نَقْعُدُ sit مِنْهَا there in مَقَٰعِدَ positions لِلسَّمْعِ for hearing, فَمَن but (he) who
يَسْتَمِعِ listens ٱلْءَانَ now يَجِدْ will find لَهُۥ for him شِهَابًا a flaming fire رَّصَدًا waiting. وَأَنَّا And that we - لَا not نَدْرِىٓ we know أَشَرٌّ whether evil أُرِيدَ is intended
بِمَن for (those) who فِى (are) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth أَمْ or أَرَادَ intends بِهِمْ for them رَبُّهُمْ their Lord رَشَدًا a right path. وَأَنَّا And that [we] مِنَّا among us ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ (are) the righteous
وَمِنَّا and among us دُونَ (are) other than ذَٰلِكَ that. كُنَّا We طَرَآئِقَ (are on) ways قِدَدًا different. وَأَنَّا And that we ظَنَنَّآ [we] have become certain أَن that لَّن never نُّعْجِزَ we will cause failure
ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَن and never نُّعْجِزَهُۥ we can escape Him هَرَبًا (by) flight. وَأَنَّا And that [we] لَمَّا when سَمِعْنَا we heard ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ the Guidance
ءَامَنَّا we believed بِهِۦ in it. فَمَن And whoever يُؤْمِنۢ believes بِرَبِّهِۦ in his Lord, فَلَا then not يَخَافُ he will fear بَخْسًا any loss وَلَا and not رَهَقًا any burden.
