وَلَا
And not
طَعَامٌ
any food
إِلَّا
except
مِنْ
from
غِسْلِينٍ
(the) discharge of wounds,
لَّا
Not
يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ
will eat it
إِلَّا
except
ٱلْخَٰطِـُٔونَ
the sinners.
فَلَآ
But nay!
أُقْسِمُ
I swear
بِمَا by what تُبْصِرُونَ you see, وَمَا And what لَا not تُبْصِرُونَ you see, إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it (is) لَقَوْلُ surely (the) Word رَسُولٍ (of) a Messenger كَرِيمٍ noble. وَمَا And not هُوَ it
بِقَوْلِ (is the) word شَاعِرٍ (of) a poet; قَلِيلًا little مَّا (is) what تُؤْمِنُونَ you believe! وَلَا And not بِقَوْلِ (it is the) word كَاهِنٍ (of) a soothsayer; قَلِيلًا little مَّا (is) what تَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed.
تَنزِيلٌ (It is) a revelation مِّن from رَّبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds. وَلَوْ And if تَقَوَّلَ he (had) fabricated عَلَيْنَا against Us بَعْضَ some ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ sayings,
لَأَخَذْنَا Certainly We (would) have seized مِنْهُ him بِٱلْيَمِينِ by the right hand; ثُمَّ Then لَقَطَعْنَا certainly We (would) have cut off مِنْهُ from him ٱلْوَتِينَ the aorta. فَمَا And not مِنكُم from you
مِّنْ any أَحَدٍ one عَنْهُ [from him] حَٰجِزِينَ (who could) prevent (it). وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَتَذْكِرَةٌ (is) surely a reminder لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ for the Allah-fearing. وَإِنَّا And indeed, We
لَنَعْلَمُ surely know أَنَّ that مِنكُم among you مُّكَذِّبِينَ (are) deniers. وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it لَحَسْرَةٌ (is) surely a regret عَلَى upon ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers.
وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it (is) لَحَقُّ surely (the) truth ٱلْيَقِينِ (of) certainty. فَسَبِّحْ So glorify بِٱسْمِ (the) name رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord, ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Most Great.
مِّنَ From ٱللَّهِ Allah, ذِى Owner ٱلْمَعَارِجِ (of) the ways of ascent. تَعْرُجُ Ascend ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels وَٱلرُّوحُ and the Spirit إِلَيْهِ to Him
فِى in يَوْمٍ a Day, كَانَ [is] مِقْدَارُهُۥ its measure خَمْسِينَ (is) fifty أَلْفَ thousand سَنَةٍ year(s). فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient, صَبْرًا a patience جَمِيلًا good.
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they يَرَوْنَهُۥ see it بَعِيدًا (as) far off. وَنَرَىٰهُ But We see it قَرِيبًا near. يَوْمَ (The) Day - تَكُونُ will be ٱلسَّمَآءُ the sky
كَٱلْمُهْلِ like molten copper, وَتَكُونُ And will be ٱلْجِبَالُ the mountains كَٱلْعِهْنِ like wool, وَلَا And not يَسْـَٔلُ will ask حَمِيمٌ a friend حَمِيمًا (about) a friend.

سورة Al-Ma'aarij
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
سَأَلَ
Asked
سَآئِلٌۢ
a questioner
بِعَذَابٍ
about a punishment
وَاقِعٍ
bound to happen
لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ
To the disbelievers,
لَيْسَ
not
لَهُۥ
of it
دَافِعٌ
any preventer.
مِّنَ From ٱللَّهِ Allah, ذِى Owner ٱلْمَعَارِجِ (of) the ways of ascent. تَعْرُجُ Ascend ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels وَٱلرُّوحُ and the Spirit إِلَيْهِ to Him
