أُذِنَ
Permission is given
لِلَّذِينَ
to those who
يُقَٰتَلُونَ
are being fought
بِأَنَّهُمْ
because they
ظُلِمُوا۟
were wronged.
وَإِنَّ
And indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
for
نَصْرِهِمْ
their victory
لَقَدِيرٌ
(is) surely Able.
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who أُخْرِجُوا۟ have been evicted مِن from دِيَٰرِهِم their homes بِغَيْرِ without حَقٍّ right إِلَّآ except أَن that يَقُولُوا۟ they said,
رَبُّنَا "Our Lord ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah." وَلَوْلَا And if not دَفْعُ Allah checks *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah checks *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلنَّاسَ the people, بَعْضَهُم some of them بِبَعْضٍ by others لَّهُدِّمَتْ surely (would) have been demolished
صَوَٰمِعُ monasteries وَبِيَعٌ and churches وَصَلَوَٰتٌ and synagogues وَمَسَٰجِدُ and masajid - يُذْكَرُ is mentioned فِيهَا in it ٱسْمُ (the) name of Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ (the) name of Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
كَثِيرًا much. وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ And surely Allah will help *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ And surely Allah will help *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مَن (those) who يَنصُرُهُۥٓ help Him. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَقَوِىٌّ (is) surely All-Strong,
عَزِيزٌ All-Mighty. ٱلَّذِينَ Those who, إِن if مَّكَّنَّٰهُمْ We establish them فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land أَقَامُوا۟ they establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer
وَءَاتَوُا۟ and they give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَأَمَرُوا۟ and they enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right وَنَهَوْا۟ and forbid عَنِ from ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong.
وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah عَٰقِبَةُ (is the) end ٱلْأُمُورِ (of) the matters. وَإِن And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ they deny you, فَقَدْ so verily كَذَّبَتْ denied
قَبْلَهُمْ before them قَوْمُ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَعَادٌ and Aad وَثَمُودُ and Thamud, وَقَوْمُ And (the) people إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim, وَقَوْمُ and (the) people
لُوطٍ (of) Lut وَأَصْحَٰبُ And the inhabitants مَدْيَنَ (of) Madyan. وَكُذِّبَ And Musa was denied, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مُوسَىٰ And Musa was denied, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] فَأَمْلَيْتُ so I granted respite لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ to the disbelievers,
ثُمَّ then أَخَذْتُهُمْ I seized them, فَكَيْفَ and how كَانَ was نَكِيرِ My punishment. فَكَأَيِّن And how many مِّن of قَرْيَةٍ a township
أَهْلَكْنَٰهَا We have destroyed it, وَهِىَ while it ظَالِمَةٌ was doing wrong, فَهِىَ so it خَاوِيَةٌ fell عَلَىٰ on عُرُوشِهَا its roofs, وَبِئْرٍ and well
مُّعَطَّلَةٍ abandoned, وَقَصْرٍ and castle مَّشِيدٍ lofty. أَفَلَمْ So have not يَسِيرُوا۟ they traveled فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَتَكُونَ and is
لَهُمْ for them قُلُوبٌ hearts يَعْقِلُونَ (to) reason بِهَآ with it أَوْ or ءَاذَانٌ ears يَسْمَعُونَ (to) hear بِهَا with it? فَإِنَّهَا For indeed, [it]
لَا not تَعْمَى (are) blinded ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ the eyes وَلَٰكِن but تَعْمَى (are) blinded ٱلْقُلُوبُ the hearts ٱلَّتِى which فِى (are) in ٱلصُّدُورِ the breasts.
