وَلَوْ
And if
يُؤَاخِذُ
Allah (were to) punish *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
ٱللَّهُ

ٱلنَّاسَ
the people
بِمَا
for what
كَسَبُوا۟
they have earned,
مَا
not
تَرَكَ
He would leave
عَلَىٰ
on
ظَهْرِهَا
its back
مِن any دَآبَّةٍ creature. وَلَٰكِن But يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ He gives them respite إِلَىٰٓ till أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed. فَإِذَا And when
جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their term, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah كَانَ is بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves بَصِيرًۢا All-Seer.
صِرَٰطٍ a Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight. تَنزِيلَ A revelation ٱلْعَزِيزِ (of) the All-Mighty, ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful, لِتُنذِرَ That you may warn قَوْمًا a people
مَّآ not أُنذِرَ were warned ءَابَآؤُهُمْ their forefathers, فَهُمْ so they غَٰفِلُونَ (are) heedless. لَقَدْ Certainly, حَقَّ (has) proved true ٱلْقَوْلُ the word عَلَىٰٓ upon أَكْثَرِهِمْ most of them
فَهُمْ so they لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe. إِنَّا Indeed, We جَعَلْنَا [We] have placed فِىٓ on أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ their necks أَغْلَٰلًا iron collars, فَهِىَ and they إِلَى (are up) to
ٱلْأَذْقَانِ the chins, فَهُم so they مُّقْمَحُونَ (are with) heads raised up. وَجَعَلْنَا And We have made مِنۢ before them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] بَيْنِ before them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَيْدِيهِمْ before them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] سَدًّا a barrier
وَمِنْ and behind them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] خَلْفِهِمْ and behind them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] سَدًّا a barrier. فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ and We covered them, فَهُمْ so they لَا (do) not يُبْصِرُونَ see. وَسَوَآءٌ And it (is) same
عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ whether you warn them أَمْ or لَمْ (do) not تُنذِرْهُمْ warn them, لَا not يُؤْمِنُونَ they will believe. إِنَّمَا Only تُنذِرُ you (can) warn
مَنِ (him) who ٱتَّبَعَ follows ٱلذِّكْرَ the Reminder وَخَشِىَ and fears ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ the Most Gracious بِٱلْغَيْبِ in the unseen. فَبَشِّرْهُ So give him glad tidings بِمَغْفِرَةٍ of forgiveness
وَأَجْرٍ and a reward كَرِيمٍ noble. إِنَّا Indeed, We نَحْنُ [We] نُحْىِ [We] give life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead وَنَكْتُبُ and We record مَا what قَدَّمُوا۟ they have sent before
وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْ and their footprints, وَكُلَّ and every شَىْءٍ thing أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ We have enumerated it فِىٓ in إِمَامٍ a Register مُّبِينٍ clear.
مِن any دَآبَّةٍ creature. وَلَٰكِن But يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ He gives them respite إِلَىٰٓ till أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى appointed. فَإِذَا And when
جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their term, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah كَانَ is بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves بَصِيرًۢا All-Seer.
سورة Yaseen
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
يسٓ
Ya Seen.
وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ
By the Quran
ٱلْحَكِيمِ
the Wise.
إِنَّكَ
Indeed, you
لَمِنَ
(are) among
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers,
عَلَىٰ
On
