وَتَرَىٰهُمْ
And you will see them
يُعْرَضُونَ
being exposed
عَلَيْهَا
to it,
خَٰشِعِينَ
humbled
مِنَ
by
ٱلذُّلِّ
disgrace,
يَنظُرُونَ
looking
مِن with طَرْفٍ a glance خَفِىٍّ stealthy. وَقَالَ And will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believed, إِنَّ "Indeed, ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ the losers ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who
خَسِرُوٓا۟ lost أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves وَأَهْلِيهِمْ and their families يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection. أَلَآ Unquestionably! إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers
فِى (are) in عَذَابٍ a punishment مُّقِيمٍ lasting. وَمَا And not كَانَ will be لَهُم for them مِّنْ any أَوْلِيَآءَ protector يَنصُرُونَهُم (who) will help them
مِّن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah. وَمَن And whom يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray *[meaning includes next or prev. word] فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِن any سَبِيلٍ way. ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ Respond
لِرَبِّكُم to your Lord مِّن before *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلِ before *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَن [that] يَأْتِىَ comes يَوْمٌ a Day لَّا (there is) no مَرَدَّ averting لَهُۥ for it مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah. مَا Not لَكُم (is) for you
مِّن any مَّلْجَإٍ refuge يَوْمَئِذٍ (on) that Day وَمَا and not لَكُم for you مِّن any نَّكِيرٍ denial. فَإِنْ Then if أَعْرَضُوا۟ they turn away,
فَمَآ then not أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ We have sent you عَلَيْهِمْ over them حَفِيظًا (as) a guardian. إِنْ Not عَلَيْكَ (is) on you إِلَّا except ٱلْبَلَٰغُ the conveyance. وَإِنَّآ And indeed, إِذَآ when
أَذَقْنَا We cause to taste ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man مِنَّا from Us رَحْمَةً Mercy, فَرِحَ he rejoices بِهَا in it. وَإِن But if تُصِبْهُمْ befalls them سَيِّئَةٌۢ evil,
بِمَا for what قَدَّمَتْ have sent forth أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man كَفُورٌ (is) ungrateful. لِّلَّهِ To Allah مُلْكُ (belongs the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. يَخْلُقُ He creates مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills. يَهَبُ He grants لِمَن to whom يَشَآءُ He wills إِنَٰثًا females,
وَيَهَبُ and He grants لِمَن to whom يَشَآءُ He wills ٱلذُّكُورَ [the] males. أَوْ Or يُزَوِّجُهُمْ He grants them ذُكْرَانًا males وَإِنَٰثًا and females;
وَيَجْعَلُ and He makes مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills عَقِيمًا barren. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful. وَمَا And not كَانَ is
لِبَشَرٍ for any human أَن that يُكَلِّمَهُ Allah should speak to him *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah should speak to him *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِلَّا except وَحْيًا (by) revelation أَوْ or مِن from وَرَآئِ behind حِجَابٍ a veil أَوْ or يُرْسِلَ (by) sending
رَسُولًا a messenger فَيُوحِىَ then he reveals بِإِذْنِهِۦ by His permission مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِىٌّ (is) Most High, حَكِيمٌ Most Wise.
