وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
لَا
(do) not
يَدْعُونَ
invoke
مَعَ
with
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
إِلَٰهًا
god
ءَاخَرَ
another,
وَلَا
and (do) not
يَقْتُلُونَ
[they] kill
ٱلنَّفْسَ
the soul
ٱلَّتِى which حَرَّمَ Allah has forbidden *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah has forbidden *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِلَّا except بِٱلْحَقِّ by right وَلَا and (do) not يَزْنُونَ commit unlawful sexual intercourse. وَمَن And whoever يَفْعَلْ does ذَٰلِكَ that
يَلْقَ will meet أَثَامًا a penalty. يُضَٰعَفْ Will be doubled لَهُ for him ٱلْعَذَابُ the punishment يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) Resurrection, وَيَخْلُدْ and he will abide forever
فِيهِۦ therein مُهَانًا humiliated إِلَّا Except مَن (he) who تَابَ repents وَءَامَنَ and believes وَعَمِلَ and does عَمَلًا righteous deeds, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] صَٰلِحًا righteous deeds, *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then (for) those يُبَدِّلُ Allah will replace *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah will replace *[meaning includes next or prev. word] سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ their evil deeds حَسَنَٰتٍ (with) good ones. وَكَانَ And is ٱللَّهُ Allah
غَفُورًا Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمًا Most Merciful. وَمَن And whoever تَابَ repents وَعَمِلَ and does صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds), فَإِنَّهُۥ then indeed, he يَتُوبُ turns
إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ Allah مَتَابًا (with) repentance. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who لَا (do) not يَشْهَدُونَ bear witness ٱلزُّورَ (to) the falsehood, وَإِذَا and when مَرُّوا۟ they pass
بِٱللَّغْوِ by futility, مَرُّوا۟ they pass كِرَامًا (as) dignified ones وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who, إِذَا when ذُكِّرُوا۟ they are reminded بِـَٔايَٰتِ of (the) Verses
رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord, لَمْ (do) not يَخِرُّوا۟ fall عَلَيْهَا upon them صُمًّا deaf وَعُمْيَانًا and blind. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يَقُولُونَ say,
رَبَّنَا "Our Lord! هَبْ Grant لَنَا to us مِنْ from أَزْوَٰجِنَا our spouses وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا and our offspring قُرَّةَ comfort أَعْيُنٍ (to) our eyes, وَٱجْعَلْنَا and make us
لِلْمُتَّقِينَ for the righteous إِمَامًا a leader." أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those يُجْزَوْنَ will be awarded ٱلْغُرْفَةَ the Chamber بِمَا because صَبَرُوا۟ they were patient
وَيُلَقَّوْنَ and they will be met فِيهَا therein تَحِيَّةً (with) greetings وَسَلَٰمًا and peace. خَٰلِدِينَ Will abide forever فِيهَا in it.
حَسُنَتْ Good مُسْتَقَرًّا (is) the settlement وَمُقَامًا and a resting place. قُلْ Say, مَا "Not يَعْبَؤُا۟ will care بِكُمْ for you رَبِّى my Lord,
لَوْلَا if not دُعَآؤُكُمْ your prayer (is to Him). فَقَدْ But verily, كَذَّبْتُمْ you have denied, فَسَوْفَ so soon يَكُونُ will be لِزَامًۢا the inevitable (punishment)."
