وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ
And We called him
مِن
from
جَانِبِ
(the) side
ٱلطُّورِ
(of) the Mount
ٱلْأَيْمَنِ
the right,
وَقَرَّبْنَٰهُ
and brought him near
نَجِيًّا
(for) conversation.
وَوَهَبْنَا
And We bestowed
لَهُۥ
[to] him
مِن
from
رَّحْمَتِنَآ Our Mercy أَخَاهُ his brother هَٰرُونَ Harun, نَبِيًّا a Prophet. وَٱذْكُرْ And mention فِى in ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Book, إِسْمَٰعِيلَ Ishmael. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he كَانَ was
صَادِقَ true ٱلْوَعْدِ (to his) promise وَكَانَ and was رَسُولًا a Messenger - نَّبِيًّا a Prophet. وَكَانَ And he used يَأْمُرُ (to) enjoin أَهْلَهُۥ (on) his people بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ the prayer
وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ and zakah وَكَانَ and was عِندَ near رَبِّهِۦ his Lord مَرْضِيًّا pleasing. وَٱذْكُرْ And mention فِى in ٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Book, إِدْرِيسَ Idris. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he
كَانَ was صِدِّيقًا truthful, نَّبِيًّا a Prophet. وَرَفَعْنَٰهُ And We raised him مَكَانًا (to) a position عَلِيًّا high. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those ٱلَّذِينَ (were) the ones whom أَنْعَمَ Allah bestowed favor *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
ٱللَّهُ Allah bestowed favor *[meaning includes next or prev. word] عَلَيْهِم upon them مِّنَ from (among) ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ the Prophets, مِن of ذُرِّيَّةِ (the) offspring ءَادَمَ (of) Adam, وَمِمَّنْ and of those حَمَلْنَا We carried مَعَ with نُوحٍ Nuh وَمِن and of
ذُرِّيَّةِ (the) offspring إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ and Israel وَمِمَّنْ and of (those) whom هَدَيْنَا We guided وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ and We chose. إِذَا When تُتْلَىٰ were recited عَلَيْهِمْ to them
ءَايَٰتُ (the) Verses ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ (of) the Most Gracious, خَرُّوا۟ they fell سُجَّدًا prostrating وَبُكِيًّا and weeping. فَخَلَفَ Then succeeded مِنۢ after them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] بَعْدِهِمْ after them *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
خَلْفٌ successors, أَضَاعُوا۟ who neglected ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ and they followed ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ the lusts فَسَوْفَ so soon, يَلْقَوْنَ they will meet غَيًّا evil
إِلَّا Except مَن (one) who تَابَ repented وَءَامَنَ and believed وَعَمِلَ and did صَٰلِحًا good (deeds). فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Then those يَدْخُلُونَ will enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ Paradise
وَلَا and not يُظْلَمُونَ they will be wronged شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. جَنَّٰتِ Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eden, ٱلَّتِى which وَعَدَ promised ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ the Most Gracious عِبَادَهُۥ (to) His slaves
بِٱلْغَيْبِ in the unseen. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, [it] كَانَ is وَعْدُهُۥ His promise مَأْتِيًّا sure to come. لَّا Not يَسْمَعُونَ they will hear فِيهَا therein لَغْوًا vain talk إِلَّا but
سَلَٰمًا peace. وَلَهُمْ And for them رِزْقُهُمْ (is) their provision فِيهَا therein, بُكْرَةً morning وَعَشِيًّا and evening. تِلْكَ This ٱلْجَنَّةُ (is) Paradise, ٱلَّتِى which
نُورِثُ We give (as) inheritance مِنْ [of] (to) عِبَادِنَا Our slaves مَن (the one) who كَانَ is تَقِيًّا righteous. وَمَا And not نَتَنَزَّلُ we descend إِلَّا except بِأَمْرِ by (the) Command رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord. لَهُۥ To Him (belongs)
مَا what بَيْنَ (is) before us *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَيْدِينَا (is) before us *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَمَا and what خَلْفَنَا (is) behind us, وَمَا and what بَيْنَ (is) between ذَٰلِكَ that. وَمَا And not كَانَ is رَبُّكَ your Lord نَسِيًّا forgetful
