وَٱجْعَل
And grant
لِّى
[for] me
لِسَانَ
a mention
صِدْقٍ
(of) honor
فِى
among
ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
the later (generations).
وَٱجْعَلْنِى
And make me
مِن
of
وَرَثَةِ
(the) inheritors
جَنَّةِ
(of) Garden(s)
ٱلنَّعِيمِ (of) Delight. وَٱغْفِرْ And forgive لِأَبِىٓ my father. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he كَانَ is مِنَ of ٱلضَّآلِّينَ those astray. وَلَا And (do) not تُخْزِنِى disgrace me يَوْمَ (on the) Day
يُبْعَثُونَ they are resurrected, يَوْمَ (The) Day لَا not يَنفَعُ will benefit مَالٌ wealth وَلَا and not بَنُونَ sons, إِلَّا Except مَنْ (he) who أَتَى comes ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah بِقَلْبٍ with a heart
سَلِيمٍ sound." وَأُزْلِفَتِ And (will be) brought near ٱلْجَنَّةُ the Paradise لِلْمُتَّقِينَ for the righteous. وَبُرِّزَتِ And (will be) made manifest ٱلْجَحِيمُ the Hellfire لِلْغَاوِينَ to the deviators.
وَقِيلَ And it will be said لَهُمْ to them, أَيْنَ "Where مَا (is) that كُنتُمْ you used تَعْبُدُونَ (to) worship مِن Besides Allah? *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِ Besides Allah? *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Besides Allah? *[meaning includes next or prev. word] هَلْ Can يَنصُرُونَكُمْ they help you
أَوْ or يَنتَصِرُونَ help themselves?" فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ Then they will be overturned فِيهَا into it, هُمْ they وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ and the deviators وَجُنُودُ And (the) hosts إِبْلِيسَ (of) Iblis
أَجْمَعُونَ all together. قَالُوا۟ They (will) say وَهُمْ while they فِيهَا in it يَخْتَصِمُونَ (are) disputing, تَٱللَّهِ "By Allah, إِن indeed, كُنَّا we were لَفِى surely in
ضَلَٰلٍ error مُّبِينٍ clear إِذْ When نُسَوِّيكُم we equated you بِرَبِّ with (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds. وَمَآ And not أَضَلَّنَآ misguided us إِلَّا except
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals. فَمَا So (now) not لَنَا we have مِن any شَٰفِعِينَ intercessors وَلَا And not صَدِيقٍ a friend حَمِيمٍ close. فَلَوْ Then if
أَنَّ that لَنَا we had كَرَّةً a return, فَنَكُونَ then we could be مِنَ of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers." إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَةً surely is a Sign, وَمَا but not كَانَ are
أَكْثَرُهُم most of them مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers. وَإِنَّ And indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, لَهُوَ surely He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful. كَذَّبَتْ Denied
قَوْمُ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers إِذْ When قَالَ said لَهُمْ to them أَخُوهُمْ their brother نُوحٌ Nuh, أَلَا "Will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear (Allah)?
إِنِّى Indeed, I am لَكُمْ to you رَسُولٌ a Messenger أَمِينٌ trustworthy. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَأَطِيعُونِ and obey me. وَمَآ And not أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ I ask (of) you
عَلَيْهِ for it مِنْ any أَجْرٍ payment. إِنْ Not أَجْرِىَ (is) my payment إِلَّا but عَلَىٰ from رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear ٱللَّهَ Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ and obey me." قَالُوٓا۟ They said, أَنُؤْمِنُ "Should we believe لَكَ in you وَٱتَّبَعَكَ while followed you ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ the lowest?"
