But not

(the) answer
قَوْمِهِۦٓ
(of) his people
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
قَالُوٓا۟
they said,
أَخْرِجُوٓا۟
"Drive out
ءَالَ
(the) family
لُوطٍ (of) Lut مِّن from قَرْيَتِكُمْ your town. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they أُنَاسٌ (are) people يَتَطَهَّرُونَ who keep clean and pure." فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ So We saved him
وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ and his family, إِلَّا except ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ his wife; قَدَّرْنَٰهَا We destined her مِنَ (to be) of ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ those who remained behind. وَأَمْطَرْنَا And We rained
عَلَيْهِم upon them مَّطَرًا a rain, فَسَآءَ and was evil مَطَرُ (the) rain ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ (on) those who were warned. قُلِ Say, ٱلْحَمْدُ "All praise (be) لِلَّهِ to Allah,
وَسَلَٰمٌ and peace (be) عَلَىٰ upon عِبَادِهِ His slaves ٱلَّذِينَ those whom ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ He has chosen. ءَآللَّهُ Is Allah خَيْرٌ better أَمَّا or what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him)?"
أَمَّنْ Or Who خَلَقَ has created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth وَأَنزَلَ and sent down لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky
مَآءً water? فَأَنۢبَتْنَا And We caused to grow بِهِۦ thereby حَدَآئِقَ gardens ذَاتَ of beauty (and delight), *[meaning includes next or prev. word] بَهْجَةٍ of beauty (and delight), *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مَّا not كَانَ it is لَكُمْ for you أَن that
تُنۢبِتُوا۟ you cause to grow شَجَرَهَآ their trees. أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? بَلْ Nay, هُمْ they قَوْمٌ (are) a people يَعْدِلُونَ who ascribe equals.
أَمَّن Or Who جَعَلَ made ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth قَرَارًا a firm abode وَجَعَلَ and made خِلَٰلَهَآ (in) its midst أَنْهَٰرًا rivers وَجَعَلَ and made
لَهَا for it رَوَٰسِىَ firm mountains وَجَعَلَ and made بَيْنَ between ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ the two seas حَاجِزًا a barrier? أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah?
بَلْ Nay, أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know. أَمَّن Or Who يُجِيبُ responds ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ (to) the distressed one إِذَا when
دَعَاهُ he calls Him وَيَكْشِفُ and He removes ٱلسُّوٓءَ the evil وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ and makes you خُلَفَآءَ inheritors ٱلْأَرْضِ (of) the earth?
أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? قَلِيلًا Little مَّا (is) what تَذَكَّرُونَ you remember. أَمَّن Or Who, يَهْدِيكُمْ guides you فِى in
ظُلُمَٰتِ (the) darkness[es] ٱلْبَرِّ (of) the land وَٱلْبَحْرِ and the sea وَمَن and Who يُرْسِلُ sends ٱلرِّيَٰحَ the winds بُشْرًۢا (as) glad tidings بَيْنَ before *[meaning includes next or prev. word] يَدَىْ before *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ His Mercy? أَءِلَٰهٌ Is there any god مَّعَ with ٱللَّهِ Allah? تَعَٰلَى High is ٱللَّهُ Allah عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him).
