ٱلْيَوْمَ
This Day
تُجْزَىٰ
will be recompensed
كُلُّ
every
نَفْسٍۭ
soul
بِمَا
for what
كَسَبَتْ
it earned.
لَا
No
ظُلْمَ
injustice
ٱلْيَوْمَ
today!
إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ Allah سَرِيعُ (is) Swift ٱلْحِسَابِ (in) Account. وَأَنذِرْهُمْ And warn them يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلْءَازِفَةِ the Approaching, إِذِ when ٱلْقُلُوبُ the hearts
لَدَى (are) at ٱلْحَنَاجِرِ the throats, كَٰظِمِينَ choked. مَا Not لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ for the wrongdoers مِنْ any حَمِيمٍ intimate friend وَلَا and no شَفِيعٍ intercessor
يُطَاعُ (who) is obeyed. يَعْلَمُ He knows خَآئِنَةَ (the) stealthy glance *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلْأَعْيُنِ (the) stealthy glance *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَمَا and what تُخْفِى conceal ٱلصُّدُورُ the breasts. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah
يَقْضِى judges بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth, وَٱلَّذِينَ while those (whom) يَدْعُونَ they invoke مِن besides Him *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِهِۦ besides Him *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَا not يَقْضُونَ they judge
بِشَىْءٍ with anything. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah - هُوَ He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer, ٱلْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer. أَوَلَمْ Do not يَسِيرُوا۟ they travel فِى in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَانُوا۟ were مِن before them? *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلِهِمْ before them? *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
كَانُوا۟ They were هُمْ [they] أَشَدَّ superior مِنْهُمْ to them قُوَّةً (in) strength وَءَاثَارًا and (in) impressions فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land, فَأَخَذَهُمُ but Allah seized them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ but Allah seized them *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
بِذُنُوبِهِمْ for their sins, وَمَا and not كَانَ was لَهُم for them مِّنَ against ٱللَّهِ Allah مِن any وَاقٍ protector. ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (was) because [they]
كَانَت used to come to them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] تَّأْتِيهِمْ used to come to them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs فَكَفَرُوا۟ but they disbelieved, فَأَخَذَهُمُ So Allah seized them. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ So Allah seized them. *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He قَوِىٌّ (is) All-Strong, شَدِيدُ severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) punishment. وَلَقَدْ And certainly, أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مُوسَىٰ Musa بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا with Our Signs
وَسُلْطَٰنٍ and an authority مُّبِينٍ clear, إِلَىٰ To فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun, وَهَٰمَٰنَ Haman وَقَٰرُونَ and Qarun,
فَقَالُوا۟ but they said, سَٰحِرٌ "A magician, كَذَّابٌ a liar." فَلَمَّا Then when جَآءَهُم he brought to them بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth مِنْ from
عِندِنَا Us قَالُوا۟ they said, ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ "Kill أَبْنَآءَ (the) sons ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe مَعَهُۥ with him, وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟ and let live
نِسَآءَهُمْ their women." وَمَا And not كَيْدُ (is the) plot ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers إِلَّا but فِى in ضَلَٰلٍ error.
