وَلَوْ
And if
نَشَآءُ
We willed
لَأَرَيْنَٰكَهُمْ
surely, We could show them to you
فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم
and you would know them
بِسِيمَٰهُمْ
by their marks;
وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ
but surely, you will know them
فِى
by
لَحْنِ (the) tone ٱلْقَوْلِ (of their) speech. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَعْلَمُ knows أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ your deeds. وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ And surely We will test you حَتَّىٰ until نَعْلَمَ We make evident
ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ those who strive مِنكُمْ among you وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ and the patient ones, وَنَبْلُوَا۟ and We will test أَخْبَارَكُمْ your affairs. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve وَصَدُّوا۟ and turn away عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way of Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ (the) way of Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَشَآقُّوا۟ and oppose ٱلرَّسُولَ the Messenger مِنۢ after *[meaning includes next or prev. word] بَعْدِ after *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
مَا [what] تَبَيَّنَ (has been) made clear لَهُمُ to them ٱلْهُدَىٰ the guidance, لَن never يَضُرُّوا۟ will they harm ٱللَّهَ Allah شَيْـًٔا (in) anything, وَسَيُحْبِطُ and He will make worthless أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَطِيعُوا۟ Obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَأَطِيعُوا۟ and obey ٱلرَّسُولَ the Messenger,
وَلَا and (do) not تُبْطِلُوٓا۟ make vain أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ your deeds. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve وَصَدُّوا۟ and turn away عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ثُمَّ then مَاتُوا۟ died وَهُمْ while they كُفَّارٌ (were) disbelievers, فَلَن never يَغْفِرَ will Allah forgive *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ will Allah forgive *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَهُمْ them. فَلَا So (do) not تَهِنُوا۟ weaken
وَتَدْعُوٓا۟ and call إِلَى for ٱلسَّلْمِ peace وَأَنتُمُ while you ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ (are) superior, وَٱللَّهُ and Allah مَعَكُمْ (is) with you وَلَن and never يَتِرَكُمْ will deprive you
أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ (of) your deeds. إِنَّمَا Only ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world لَعِبٌ (is) play وَلَهْوٌ and amusement. وَإِن And if تُؤْمِنُوا۟ you believe وَتَتَّقُوا۟ and fear (Allah)
يُؤْتِكُمْ He will give you أُجُورَكُمْ your rewards وَلَا and not يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ will ask you أَمْوَٰلَكُمْ (for) your wealth. إِن If يَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَا He were to ask you for it
فَيُحْفِكُمْ and press you, تَبْخَلُوا۟ you will withhold وَيُخْرِجْ and He will bring forth أَضْغَٰنَكُمْ your hatred. هَٰٓأَنتُمْ Here you are - هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these,
تُدْعَوْنَ called لِتُنفِقُوا۟ to spend فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah - فَمِنكُم but among you مَّن (are some) who يَبْخَلُ withhold, وَمَن and whoever يَبْخَلْ withholds,
فَإِنَّمَا then only يَبْخَلُ he withholds عَن from نَّفْسِهِۦ himself. وَٱللَّهُ But Allah ٱلْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need, وَأَنتُمُ while you ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ (are) the needy. وَإِن And if
تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ you turn away يَسْتَبْدِلْ He will replace you قَوْمًا (with) a people غَيْرَكُمْ other than you, ثُمَّ then لَا not يَكُونُوٓا۟ they will be أَمْثَٰلَكُم (the) likes of you.
