Avoid
كَثِيرًا
much
مِّنَ

ٱلظَّنِّ
the assumption.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
بَعْضَ
some
ٱلظَّنِّ
assumption
إِثْمٌ (is) sin. وَلَا And (do) not تَجَسَّسُوا۟ spy وَلَا and (do) not يَغْتَب backbite بَّعْضُكُم some of you بَعْضًا (to) others. أَيُحِبُّ Would like أَحَدُكُمْ one of you أَن to
يَأْكُلَ eat لَحْمَ (the) flesh أَخِيهِ (of) his brother, مَيْتًا dead? فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ Nay, you would hate it. وَٱتَّقُوا۟ And fear Allah; *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهَ And fear Allah; *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah
تَوَّابٌ (is) Oft-Returning, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful. يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O mankind! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلنَّاسُ O mankind! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِنَّا Indeed, We خَلَقْنَٰكُم created you مِّن from ذَكَرٍ a male وَأُنثَىٰ and a female وَجَعَلْنَٰكُمْ and We made you
شُعُوبًا nations وَقَبَآئِلَ and tribes لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟ that you may know one another. إِنَّ Indeed, أَكْرَمَكُمْ (the) most noble of you عِندَ near ٱللَّهِ Allah أَتْقَىٰكُمْ (is the) most righteous of you. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, خَبِيرٌ All-Aware. قَالَتِ Say ٱلْأَعْرَابُ the Bedouins, ءَامَنَّا "We believe." قُل Say, لَّمْ "Not تُؤْمِنُوا۟ you believe; وَلَٰكِن but
قُولُوٓا۟ say, أَسْلَمْنَا "We have submitted," وَلَمَّا and has not yet يَدْخُلِ entered ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ the faith فِى in قُلُوبِكُمْ your hearts. وَإِن But if تُطِيعُوا۟ you obey ٱللَّهَ Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger, لَا not يَلِتْكُم He will deprive you مِّنْ of أَعْمَٰلِكُمْ your deeds شَيْـًٔا anything. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
إِنَّمَا Only ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger, ثُمَّ then لَمْ (do) not يَرْتَابُوا۟ doubt
وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ but strive بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives فِى in سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those هُمُ [they]
ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ (are) the truthful." قُلْ Say, أَتُعَلِّمُونَ "Will you acquaint ٱللَّهَ Allah بِدِينِكُمْ with your religion وَٱللَّهُ while Allah يَعْلَمُ knows مَا what فِى (is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and what فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower." يَمُنُّونَ They consider (it) a favor
عَلَيْكَ to you أَنْ that أَسْلَمُوا۟ they have accepted Islam. قُل Say, لَّا "(Do) not تَمُنُّوا۟ consider a favor عَلَىَّ on me - إِسْلَٰمَكُم your Islam. بَلِ Nay, ٱللَّهُ Allah يَمُنُّ has conferred a favor
عَلَيْكُمْ upon you أَنْ that هَدَىٰكُمْ He has guided you لِلْإِيمَٰنِ to the faith, إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah يَعْلَمُ knows
غَيْبَ (the) unseen ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بَصِيرٌۢ (is) All-Seer بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do."
