وَأَنَّهُۥ
And that He
خَلَقَ
created
ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ
the pairs,
ٱلذَّكَرَ
the male
وَٱلْأُنثَىٰ
and the female
مِن
From
نُّطْفَةٍ
a semen-drop
إِذَا
when
تُمْنَىٰ
it is emitted.
وَأَنَّ And that عَلَيْهِ upon Him ٱلنَّشْأَةَ (is) the bringing forth ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ another. وَأَنَّهُۥ And that He هُوَ [He] أَغْنَىٰ enriches وَأَقْنَىٰ and suffices. وَأَنَّهُۥ And that He
هُوَ [He] رَبُّ (is the) Lord ٱلشِّعْرَىٰ (of) Sirius وَأَنَّهُۥٓ And that He أَهْلَكَ destroyed عَادًا Aad ٱلْأُولَىٰ the first, وَثَمُودَا۟ And Thamud, فَمَآ so not
أَبْقَىٰ He spared, وَقَوْمَ And (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh مِّن before. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلُ before. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ they were *[meaning includes next or prev. word] هُمْ they were *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَظْلَمَ more unjust وَأَطْغَىٰ and more rebellious.
وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ And the overturned cities أَهْوَىٰ He overthrew فَغَشَّىٰهَا So covered them مَا what غَشَّىٰ covered. فَبِأَىِّ Then which (of) ءَالَآءِ the Favors
رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord, تَتَمَارَىٰ will you doubt? هَٰذَا This نَذِيرٌ (is) a warner, مِّنَ from ٱلنُّذُرِ the warners ٱلْأُولَىٰٓ the former. أَزِفَتِ Has approached ٱلْءَازِفَةُ the Approaching Day.
لَيْسَ Not is لَهَا for it مِن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah كَاشِفَةٌ any remover. أَفَمِنْ Then of هَٰذَا this ٱلْحَدِيثِ statement
تَعْجَبُونَ you wonder? وَتَضْحَكُونَ And you laugh وَلَا and (do) not تَبْكُونَ weep, وَأَنتُمْ While you سَٰمِدُونَ amuse (yourselves)?
فَٱسْجُدُوا۟ So prostrate لِلَّهِ to Allah وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ and worship (Him).
سِحْرٌ "Magic مُّسْتَمِرٌّ continuing." وَكَذَّبُوا۟ And they denied وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ and followed أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires, وَكُلُّ but (for) every أَمْرٍ matter مُّسْتَقِرٌّ (will be a) settlement.
وَلَقَدْ And certainly جَآءَهُم has come to them مِّنَ of ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ the information مَا wherein *[meaning includes next or prev. word] فِيهِ wherein *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مُزْدَجَرٌ (is) deterrence, حِكْمَةٌۢ Wisdom بَٰلِغَةٌ perfect, فَمَا but not تُغْنِ will avail
ٱلنُّذُرُ the warnings. فَتَوَلَّ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them. يَوْمَ (The) Day, يَدْعُ will call ٱلدَّاعِ the caller إِلَىٰ to شَىْءٍ a thing نُّكُرٍ terrible,

فَٱسْجُدُوا۟ So prostrate لِلَّهِ to Allah وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ and worship (Him).
سورة Al-Qamar
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ٱقْتَرَبَتِ
Has come near
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
the Hour
وَٱنشَقَّ
and has split
ٱلْقَمَرُ
the moon.
وَإِن
And if
يَرَوْا۟
they see
ءَايَةً
a Sign,
يُعْرِضُوا۟
they turn away
وَيَقُولُوا۟
and say,
سِحْرٌ "Magic مُّسْتَمِرٌّ continuing." وَكَذَّبُوا۟ And they denied وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ and followed أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires, وَكُلُّ but (for) every أَمْرٍ matter مُّسْتَقِرٌّ (will be a) settlement.
