إِلَى
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُوا۟
were given
نَصِيبًا
a portion
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
the Scripture?
يُدْعَوْنَ
They are invited
إِلَىٰ
to
كِتَٰبِ
(the) Book
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah لِيَحْكُمَ that (it should) arbitrate بَيْنَهُمْ between them, ثُمَّ then يَتَوَلَّىٰ turns away فَرِيقٌ a party مِّنْهُمْ of them وَهُم and they (are) مُّعْرِضُونَ those who are averse.
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they قَالُوا۟ say, لَن "Never تَمَسَّنَا will touch us ٱلنَّارُ the Fire إِلَّآ except أَيَّامًا (for) days مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ numbered."
وَغَرَّهُمْ And deceived them فِى in دِينِهِم their religion مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they were يَفْتَرُونَ inventing. فَكَيْفَ Then how (will it be) إِذَا when جَمَعْنَٰهُمْ We will gather them
لِيَوْمٍ on a Day - لَّا no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it. وَوُفِّيَتْ And will be paid in full كُلُّ every نَفْسٍ soul مَّا what كَسَبَتْ it earned وَهُمْ and they
لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged. قُلِ Say ٱللَّهُمَّ "O Allah! مَٰلِكَ Owner ٱلْمُلْكِ (of) the Dominion, تُؤْتِى You give ٱلْمُلْكَ the dominion مَن (to) whom
تَشَآءُ You will وَتَنزِعُ and You take away ٱلْمُلْكَ the dominion مِمَّن from whom تَشَآءُ You will, وَتُعِزُّ and You honor مَن whom تَشَآءُ You will, وَتُذِلُّ and You humiliate مَن whom
تَشَآءُ You will. بِيَدِكَ In Your hand ٱلْخَيْرُ (is all) the good. إِنَّكَ Indeed, You عَلَىٰ (are) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful. تُولِجُ You cause to enter ٱلَّيْلَ the night
فِى in ٱلنَّهَارِ the day وَتُولِجُ and You cause to enter ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فِى in ٱلَّيْلِ the night, وَتُخْرِجُ and You bring forth ٱلْحَىَّ the living مِنَ from ٱلْمَيِّتِ the dead,
وَتُخْرِجُ and You bring forth ٱلْمَيِّتَ the dead مِنَ from ٱلْحَىِّ the living, وَتَرْزُقُ and You give provision مَن (to) whom تَشَآءُ You will بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ measure."
لَّا (Let) not يَتَّخِذِ take ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers, ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers أَوْلِيَآءَ (as) allies مِن from دُونِ instead of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
وَمَن And whoever يَفْعَلْ does ذَٰلِكَ that, فَلَيْسَ then not he (has) مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah فِى in شَىْءٍ anything إِلَّآ except أَن that تَتَّقُوا۟ you fear مِنْهُمْ from them,
تُقَىٰةً (as) a precaution. وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ And warns you ٱللَّهُ Allah نَفْسَهُۥ (of) Himself, وَإِلَى and to ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the final return. قُلْ Say,
إِن "Whether تُخْفُوا۟ you conceal مَا what فِى (is) in صُدُورِكُمْ your breasts أَوْ or تُبْدُوهُ you disclose it - يَعْلَمْهُ knows it ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَيَعْلَمُ And He knows
مَا what فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and what فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful."
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah لِيَحْكُمَ that (it should) arbitrate بَيْنَهُمْ between them, ثُمَّ then يَتَوَلَّىٰ turns away فَرِيقٌ a party مِّنْهُمْ of them وَهُم and they (are) مُّعْرِضُونَ those who are averse.

وَتُخْرِجُ and You bring forth ٱلْمَيِّتَ the dead مِنَ from ٱلْحَىِّ the living, وَتَرْزُقُ and You give provision مَن (to) whom تَشَآءُ You will بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ measure."
لَّا (Let) not يَتَّخِذِ take ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ the believers, ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers أَوْلِيَآءَ (as) allies مِن from دُونِ instead of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers.
وَمَن And whoever يَفْعَلْ does ذَٰلِكَ that, فَلَيْسَ then not he (has) مِنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah فِى in شَىْءٍ anything إِلَّآ except أَن that تَتَّقُوا۟ you fear مِنْهُمْ from them,
