وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا
And will avoid it
ٱلْأَشْقَى
the wretched one.
ٱلَّذِى
The one who
يَصْلَى
will burn
ٱلنَّارَ
(in) the Fire
ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
[the] great.
ثُمَّ
Then
لَا
not
يَمُوتُ
he will die
فِيهَا therein وَلَا and not يَحْيَىٰ will live. قَدْ Certainly, أَفْلَحَ has succeeded مَن (one) who تَزَكَّىٰ purifies (himself), وَذَكَرَ And remembers ٱسْمَ (the) name رَبِّهِۦ (of) his Lord فَصَلَّىٰ and prays.
بَلْ Nay! تُؤْثِرُونَ You prefer ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world, وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ While the Hereafter خَيْرٌ (is) better وَأَبْقَىٰٓ and everlasting. إِنَّ Indeed,
هَٰذَا this لَفِى surely (is) in ٱلصُّحُفِ the Scriptures ٱلْأُولَىٰ [the] former, صُحُفِ (The) Scriptures إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim وَمُوسَىٰ and Musa.
نَّاصِبَةٌ exhausted. تَصْلَىٰ They will burn نَارًا (in) a Fire حَامِيَةً intensely hot. تُسْقَىٰ They will be given to drink مِنْ from عَيْنٍ a spring, ءَانِيَةٍ boiling. لَّيْسَ Not is
لَهُمْ for them طَعَامٌ food إِلَّا except مِن from ضَرِيعٍ a bitter thorny plant, لَّا Not يُسْمِنُ it nourishes وَلَا and not يُغْنِى it avails مِن from جُوعٍ hunger. وُجُوهٌ Faces
يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day نَّاعِمَةٌ (will be) joyful. لِّسَعْيِهَا With their effort رَاضِيَةٌ satisfied, فِى In جَنَّةٍ a garden عَالِيَةٍ elevated. لَّا Not تَسْمَعُ they will hear
فِيهَا therein لَٰغِيَةً vain talk. فِيهَا Therein عَيْنٌ (will be) a spring جَارِيَةٌ flowing, فِيهَا Therein سُرُرٌ (will be) thrones مَّرْفُوعَةٌ raised high, وَأَكْوَابٌ And cups
مَّوْضُوعَةٌ put in place, وَنَمَارِقُ And cushions مَصْفُوفَةٌ lined up, وَزَرَابِىُّ And carpets مَبْثُوثَةٌ spread out. أَفَلَا Then do not يَنظُرُونَ they look
إِلَى towards ٱلْإِبِلِ the camels, كَيْفَ how خُلِقَتْ they are created? وَإِلَى And towards ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky, كَيْفَ how رُفِعَتْ it is raised? وَإِلَى And towards
ٱلْجِبَالِ the mountains, كَيْفَ how نُصِبَتْ they are fixed? وَإِلَى And towards ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth, كَيْفَ how سُطِحَتْ it is spread out?
فَذَكِّرْ So remind, إِنَّمَآ only أَنتَ you مُذَكِّرٌ (are) a reminder. لَّسْتَ You are not عَلَيْهِم over them بِمُصَيْطِرٍ a controller,
فِيهَا therein وَلَا and not يَحْيَىٰ will live. قَدْ Certainly, أَفْلَحَ has succeeded مَن (one) who تَزَكَّىٰ purifies (himself), وَذَكَرَ And remembers ٱسْمَ (the) name رَبِّهِۦ (of) his Lord فَصَلَّىٰ and prays.

سورة Al-Ghaashiya
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
هَلْ
Has
أَتَىٰكَ
(there) come to you
حَدِيثُ
(the) news
ٱلْغَٰشِيَةِ
(of) the Overwhelming?
وُجُوهٌ
Faces
يَوْمَئِذٍ
that Day
خَٰشِعَةٌ
(will be) humbled,
عَامِلَةٌ
Laboring,
نَّاصِبَةٌ exhausted. تَصْلَىٰ They will burn نَارًا (in) a Fire حَامِيَةً intensely hot. تُسْقَىٰ They will be given to drink مِنْ from عَيْنٍ a spring, ءَانِيَةٍ boiling. لَّيْسَ Not is
