وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ 66 وَجَآءَ أَهْلُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ 67 قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ 68 وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ 69 قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ 70 قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِىٓ إِن كُنتُمْ فَٰعِلِينَ 71 لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِى سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ 72

English Translation - Sahih International

(15:66) And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning. (15:67) And the people of the city came rejoicing. (15:68) [Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me. (15:69) And fear Allah and do not disgrace me." (15:70) They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?" (15:71) [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]." (15:72) By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.
