سورة Ash-Shura
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
حمٓ
Ha Meem.
عٓسٓقٓ
Ayn Seen Qaaf.
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
يُوحِىٓ
reveals
إِلَيْكَ
to you,
وَإِلَى
and to
ٱلَّذِينَ
those
مِن
before you - *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
قَبْلِكَ
before you - *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise. لَهُۥ To Him مَا (belong) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth,
وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High, ٱلْعَظِيمُ the Most Great. تَكَادُ Almost ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ the heavens يَتَفَطَّرْنَ break up مِن from فَوْقِهِنَّ above them,
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ and the Angels يُسَبِّحُونَ glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ and ask for forgiveness لِمَن for those فِى on
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. أَلَآ Unquestionably, إِنَّ indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلْغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take
مِن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِهِۦٓ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors, ٱللَّهُ Allah حَفِيظٌ (is) a Guardian عَلَيْهِمْ over them, وَمَآ and not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them بِوَكِيلٍ a manager.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you قُرْءَانًا a Quran عَرَبِيًّا (in) Arabic, لِّتُنذِرَ that you may warn أُمَّ (the) mother ٱلْقُرَىٰ (of) the towns, وَمَنْ and whoever
حَوْلَهَا (is) around it, وَتُنذِرَ and warn يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلْجَمْعِ (of) Assembly, لَا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it. فَرِيقٌ A party فِى (will be) in ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise وَفَرِيقٌ and a party فِى in
ٱلسَّعِيرِ the Blazing Fire. وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ Allah willed, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah willed, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَجَعَلَهُمْ He could have made them أُمَّةً a community وَٰحِدَةً one, وَلَٰكِن but يُدْخِلُ He admits مَن whom
يَشَآءُ He wills فِى in (to) رَحْمَتِهِۦ His Mercy. وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ And the wrongdoers, مَا not لَهُم for them مِّن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper. أَمِ Or
ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ have they taken مِن besides Him *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors? فَٱللَّهُ But Allah - هُوَ He ٱلْوَلِىُّ (is) the Protector, وَهُوَ and He يُحْىِ gives life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead. وَهُوَ And He
عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful. وَمَا And whatever ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ you differ فِيهِ in it مِن of شَىْءٍ a thing, فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ then its ruling
إِلَى (is) to ٱللَّهِ Allah. ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah, رَبِّى my Lord, عَلَيْهِ upon Him تَوَكَّلْتُ I put my trust وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him أُنِيبُ I turn.
