إِذَا
When
رَأَتْهُم
it sees them
مِّن
from
مَّكَانٍۭ
a place
بَعِيدٍ
far,
سَمِعُوا۟
they will hear
لَهَا
its
تَغَيُّظًا
raging
وَزَفِيرًا
and roaring.
وَإِذَآ And when أُلْقُوا۟ they are thrown مِنْهَا thereof مَكَانًا (in) a place ضَيِّقًا narrow مُّقَرَّنِينَ bound in chains, دَعَوْا۟ they will call هُنَالِكَ there ثُبُورًا (for) destruction.
لَّا "(Do) not تَدْعُوا۟ call ٱلْيَوْمَ this day ثُبُورًا (for) destruction وَٰحِدًا one, وَٱدْعُوا۟ but call ثُبُورًا (for) destructions كَثِيرًا many."
قُلْ Say, أَذَٰلِكَ "Is that خَيْرٌ better أَمْ or جَنَّةُ Garden ٱلْخُلْدِ (of) Eternity, ٱلَّتِى which وُعِدَ is promised ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ (to) the righteous? كَانَتْ It will be
لَهُمْ for them جَزَآءً a reward وَمَصِيرًا and destination. لَّهُمْ For them فِيهَا therein مَا (is) whatever يَشَآءُونَ they wish, خَٰلِدِينَ they will abide forever.
كَانَ It is عَلَىٰ on رَبِّكَ your Lord وَعْدًا a promise مَّسْـُٔولًا requested." وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day يَحْشُرُهُمْ He will gather them وَمَا and what
يَعْبُدُونَ they worship مِن besides Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِ besides Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ besides Allah *[meaning includes next or prev. word] فَيَقُولُ and He will say, ءَأَنتُمْ "Did you أَضْلَلْتُمْ [you] mislead عِبَادِى My slaves
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these أَمْ or هُمْ they ضَلُّوا۟ went astray ٱلسَّبِيلَ (from) the way?" قَالُوا۟ They say, سُبْحَٰنَكَ "Glory be to You! مَا Not كَانَ it was proper *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
يَنۢبَغِى it was proper *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَنَآ for us أَن that نَّتَّخِذَ we take مِن besides You *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِكَ besides You *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مِنْ any أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors. وَلَٰكِن But مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ You gave them comforts
وَءَابَآءَهُمْ and their forefathers حَتَّىٰ until نَسُوا۟ they forgot ٱلذِّكْرَ the Message وَكَانُوا۟ and became قَوْمًۢا a people بُورًا ruined."
فَقَدْ "So verily, كَذَّبُوكُم they deny you بِمَا in what تَقُولُونَ you say, فَمَا so not تَسْتَطِيعُونَ you are able صَرْفًا (to) avert
وَلَا and not نَصْرًا (to) help." وَمَن And whoever يَظْلِم does wrong مِّنكُمْ among you, نُذِقْهُ We will make him taste عَذَابًا a punishment كَبِيرًا great.
وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent قَبْلَكَ before you مِنَ any ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ Messengers إِلَّآ but إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they لَيَأْكُلُونَ [surely] ate
ٱلطَّعَامَ food وَيَمْشُونَ and walked فِى in ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ the markets. وَجَعَلْنَا And We have made بَعْضَكُمْ some of you
لِبَعْضٍ for others فِتْنَةً a trial, أَتَصْبِرُونَ will you have patience? وَكَانَ And is رَبُّكَ your Lord بَصِيرًا All-Seer.
وَإِذَآ And when أُلْقُوا۟ they are thrown مِنْهَا thereof مَكَانًا (in) a place ضَيِّقًا narrow مُّقَرَّنِينَ bound in chains, دَعَوْا۟ they will call هُنَالِكَ there ثُبُورًا (for) destruction.
