فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ
But We saved him
وَأَصْحَٰبَ
and (the) people
ٱلسَّفِينَةِ
(of) the ship,
وَجَعَلْنَٰهَآ
and We made it
ءَايَةً
a Sign
لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
for the worlds.
وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ And Ibrahim - إِذْ when قَالَ he said لِقَوْمِهِ to his people, ٱعْبُدُوا۟ "Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah وَٱتَّقُوهُ and fear Him. ذَٰلِكُمْ That
خَيْرٌ (is) better لَّكُمْ for you إِن if كُنتُمْ you تَعْلَمُونَ know. إِنَّمَا Only تَعْبُدُونَ you worship مِن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
دُونِ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah أَوْثَٰنًا idols, وَتَخْلُقُونَ and you create إِفْكًا falsehood. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those whom تَعْبُدُونَ you worship مِن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
دُونِ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah لَا (do) not يَمْلِكُونَ possess لَكُمْ for you رِزْقًا any provision. فَٱبْتَغُوا۟ So seek عِندَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision
وَٱعْبُدُوهُ and worship Him وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ and be grateful لَهُۥٓ to Him. إِلَيْهِ To Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned. وَإِن And if تُكَذِّبُوا۟ you deny
فَقَدْ then verily, كَذَّبَ denied أُمَمٌ (the) nations مِّن before you. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلِكُمْ before you. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَمَا And not عَلَى (is) on ٱلرَّسُولِ the Messenger إِلَّا except ٱلْبَلَٰغُ the conveyance
ٱلْمُبِينُ clear." أَوَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see كَيْفَ how يُبْدِئُ Allah originates *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah originates *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation ثُمَّ then
يُعِيدُهُۥٓ repeats it? إِنَّ Indeed, ذَٰلِكَ that عَلَى for ٱللَّهِ Allah يَسِيرٌ (is) easy. قُلْ Say, سِيرُوا۟ "Travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth
فَٱنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how بَدَأَ He originated ٱلْخَلْقَ the creation, ثُمَّ Then ٱللَّهُ Allah يُنشِئُ will produce ٱلنَّشْأَةَ the creation ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ the last.
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing قَدِيرٌ (is) All-Powerful." يُعَذِّبُ He punishes مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَرْحَمُ and has mercy
مَن (on) whom يَشَآءُ He wills, وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him تُقْلَبُونَ you will be returned. وَمَآ And not أَنتُم you بِمُعْجِزِينَ can escape فِى in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven. وَمَا And not لَكُم for you مِّن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah مِن any
وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ a helper. وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَلِقَآئِهِۦٓ and (the) meeting (with) Him,
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those يَئِسُوا۟ (have) despaired مِن of رَّحْمَتِى My Mercy. وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ And those, لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ painful.
وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ And Ibrahim - إِذْ when قَالَ he said لِقَوْمِهِ to his people, ٱعْبُدُوا۟ "Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah وَٱتَّقُوهُ and fear Him. ذَٰلِكُمْ That
