كَلَّا
No!
بَلْ
But
تُحِبُّونَ
you love
ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ
the immediate,
وَتَذَرُونَ
And leave
ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ
the Hereafter.
وُجُوهٌ
Faces
يَوْمَئِذٍ
that Day
نَّاضِرَةٌ
(will be) radiant,
إِلَىٰ Towards رَبِّهَا their Lord نَاظِرَةٌ looking, وَوُجُوهٌ And faces يَوْمَئِذٍۭ that Day بَاسِرَةٌ (will be) distorted, تَظُنُّ Thinking أَن that يُفْعَلَ will be done بِهَا to them
فَاقِرَةٌ backbreaking. كَلَّآ No! إِذَا When بَلَغَتِ it reaches ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ the collar bones وَقِيلَ And it is said, مَنْ "Who رَاقٍ (will) cure?" وَظَنَّ And he is certain أَنَّهُ that it ٱلْفِرَاقُ (is) the parting.
وَٱلْتَفَّتِ And is wound, ٱلسَّاقُ the leg بِٱلسَّاقِ about the leg, إِلَىٰ To رَبِّكَ your Lord يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day ٱلْمَسَاقُ (will be) the driving. فَلَا And not
صَدَّقَ he accepted (the) truth وَلَا and not صَلَّىٰ he prayed. وَلَٰكِن But كَذَّبَ he denied وَتَوَلَّىٰ and turned away. ثُمَّ Then ذَهَبَ he went إِلَىٰٓ to أَهْلِهِۦ his family, يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ swaggering.
أَوْلَىٰ Woe لَكَ to you, فَأَوْلَىٰ and woe! ثُمَّ Then أَوْلَىٰ woe لَكَ to you, فَأَوْلَىٰٓ and woe! أَيَحْسَبُ Does think ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ man
أَن that يُتْرَكَ he will be left سُدًى neglected? أَلَمْ Was not يَكُ he نُطْفَةً a semen-drop مِّن of مَّنِىٍّ semen يُمْنَىٰ emitted? ثُمَّ Then كَانَ he was
عَلَقَةً a clinging substance, فَخَلَقَ then He created فَسَوَّىٰ and proportioned. فَجَعَلَ Then made مِنْهُ of him ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ two kinds, ٱلذَّكَرَ (the) male
وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ and the female. أَلَيْسَ Is not ذَٰلِكَ [that] بِقَٰدِرٍ (He) Able عَلَىٰٓ [over] أَن to يُحْۦِىَ give life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead?
ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ man مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a semen-drop, أَمْشَاجٍ a mixture, نَّبْتَلِيهِ (that) We test him; فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ so We made (for) him سَمِيعًۢا hearing بَصِيرًا and sight. إِنَّا Indeed, We
هَدَيْنَٰهُ guided him ٱلسَّبِيلَ (to) the way إِمَّا whether شَاكِرًا (he) be grateful وَإِمَّا and whether كَفُورًا (he) be ungrateful. إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَعْتَدْنَا [We] have prepared لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ for the disbelievers سَلَٰسِلَا۟ chains
وَأَغْلَٰلًا and shackles وَسَعِيرًا and a Blazing Fire. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْأَبْرَارَ the righteous يَشْرَبُونَ will drink مِن from كَأْسٍ a cup, كَانَ is مِزَاجُهَا its mixture كَافُورًا (of) Kafur,
إِلَىٰ Towards رَبِّهَا their Lord نَاظِرَةٌ looking, وَوُجُوهٌ And faces يَوْمَئِذٍۭ that Day بَاسِرَةٌ (will be) distorted, تَظُنُّ Thinking أَن that يُفْعَلَ will be done بِهَا to them

سورة Al-Insaan
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
هَلْ
Has
أَتَىٰ
(there) come
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ
man
حِينٌ
a period
مِّنَ
of
ٱلدَّهْرِ
time
لَمْ
not
يَكُن
he was
شَيْـًٔا
a thing
مَّذْكُورًا
mentioned?
إِنَّا
Indeed, We
خَلَقْنَا
[We] created
ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ man مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a semen-drop, أَمْشَاجٍ a mixture, نَّبْتَلِيهِ (that) We test him; فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ so We made (for) him سَمِيعًۢا hearing بَصِيرًا and sight. إِنَّا Indeed, We
