وَمَن
And whoever
يَقْنُتْ
is obedient
مِنكُنَّ
among you
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
and His Messenger
وَتَعْمَلْ
and does
صَٰلِحًا
righteousness,
نُّؤْتِهَآ
We will give her
أَجْرَهَا her reward مَرَّتَيْنِ twice; وَأَعْتَدْنَا and We have prepared لَهَا for her رِزْقًا a provision كَرِيمًا noble. يَٰنِسَآءَ O wives ٱلنَّبِىِّ (of) the Prophet!
لَسْتُنَّ You are not كَأَحَدٍ like anyone مِّنَ among ٱلنِّسَآءِ the women. إِنِ If ٱتَّقَيْتُنَّ you fear (Allah), فَلَا then (do) not تَخْضَعْنَ be soft بِٱلْقَوْلِ in speech,
فَيَطْمَعَ lest should be moved with desire ٱلَّذِى he who, فِى in قَلْبِهِۦ his heart مَرَضٌ (is) a disease, وَقُلْنَ but say قَوْلًا a word مَّعْرُوفًا appropriate. وَقَرْنَ And stay
فِى in بُيُوتِكُنَّ your houses وَلَا and (do) not تَبَرَّجْنَ display yourselves تَبَرُّجَ (as was the) display ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ (of the times of) ignorance ٱلْأُولَىٰ the former. وَأَقِمْنَ And establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتِينَ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَأَطِعْنَ and obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ and His Messenger. إِنَّمَا Only
يُرِيدُ Allah wishes *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah wishes *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لِيُذْهِبَ to remove عَنكُمُ from you ٱلرِّجْسَ the impurity, أَهْلَ (O) People ٱلْبَيْتِ (of) the House! وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ And to purify you
تَطْهِيرًا (with thorough) purification. وَٱذْكُرْنَ And remember مَا what يُتْلَىٰ is recited فِى in بُيُوتِكُنَّ your houses مِنْ of
ءَايَٰتِ (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ and the wisdom. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah كَانَ is لَطِيفًا All-Subtle, خَبِيرًا All-Aware.
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ the Muslim men وَٱلْمُسْلِمَٰتِ and the Muslim women, وَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ and the believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ and the believing women,
وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ and the obedient men وَٱلْقَٰنِتَٰتِ and the obedient women, وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ and the truthful men وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ and the truthful women, وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ and the patient men
وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ and the patient women, وَٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ and the humble men وَٱلْخَٰشِعَٰتِ and the humble women, وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ and the men who give charity
وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ and the women who give charity وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ and the men who fast وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ and the women who fast, وَٱلْحَٰفِظِينَ and the men who guard
فُرُوجَهُمْ their chastity وَٱلْحَٰفِظَٰتِ and the women who guard (it), وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ and the men who remember ٱللَّهَ Allah كَثِيرًا much
وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ and the women who remember أَعَدَّ Allah has prepared *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah has prepared *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَهُم for them مَّغْفِرَةً forgiveness وَأَجْرًا and a reward عَظِيمًا great.
أَجْرَهَا her reward مَرَّتَيْنِ twice; وَأَعْتَدْنَا and We have prepared لَهَا for her رِزْقًا a provision كَرِيمًا noble. يَٰنِسَآءَ O wives ٱلنَّبِىِّ (of) the Prophet!
لَسْتُنَّ You are not كَأَحَدٍ like anyone مِّنَ among ٱلنِّسَآءِ the women. إِنِ If ٱتَّقَيْتُنَّ you fear (Allah), فَلَا then (do) not تَخْضَعْنَ be soft بِٱلْقَوْلِ in speech,

وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ and the obedient men وَٱلْقَٰنِتَٰتِ and the obedient women, وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ and the truthful men وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ and the truthful women, وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ and the patient men
وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ and the patient women, وَٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ and the humble men وَٱلْخَٰشِعَٰتِ and the humble women, وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ and the men who give charity
وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ and the women who give charity وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ and the men who fast وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ and the women who fast, وَٱلْحَٰفِظِينَ and the men who guard
فُرُوجَهُمْ their chastity وَٱلْحَٰفِظَٰتِ and the women who guard (it), وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ and the men who remember ٱللَّهَ Allah كَثِيرًا much
وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ and the women who remember أَعَدَّ Allah has prepared *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah has prepared *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَهُم for them مَّغْفِرَةً forgiveness وَأَجْرًا and a reward عَظِيمًا great.
