وَمِنْهُم
And among them
مَّن
(are some) who
يَنظُرُ
look
إِلَيْكَ
at you.
أَفَأَنتَ
But (can) you
تَهْدِى
guide
ٱلْعُمْىَ
the blind
وَلَوْ
even though
كَانُوا۟
they [were]
لَا
(do) not
يُبْصِرُونَ
see?
إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يَظْلِمُ wrong ٱلنَّاسَ the people شَيْـًٔا (in) anything, وَلَٰكِنَّ but ٱلنَّاسَ the people أَنفُسَهُمْ wrong themselves. *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
يَظْلِمُونَ wrong themselves. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَيَوْمَ And the Day يَحْشُرُهُمْ He will gather them, كَأَن as if لَّمْ they had not remained *[meaning includes next or prev. word] يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ they had not remained *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِلَّا except سَاعَةً an hour مِّنَ of ٱلنَّهَارِ the day,
يَتَعَارَفُونَ they will recognize each other بَيْنَهُمْ between them. قَدْ Certainly, خَسِرَ (will have) lost ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَذَّبُوا۟ denied بِلِقَآءِ the meeting ٱللَّهِ (with) Allah, وَمَا and not كَانُوا۟ they were
مُهْتَدِينَ the guided ones. وَإِمَّا And whether نُرِيَنَّكَ We show you بَعْضَ some ٱلَّذِى (of) that which نَعِدُهُمْ We promised them أَوْ or نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ We cause you to die,
فَإِلَيْنَا then to Us مَرْجِعُهُمْ (is) their return, ثُمَّ then ٱللَّهُ Allah شَهِيدٌ (is) a Witness عَلَىٰ over مَا what يَفْعَلُونَ they do. وَلِكُلِّ And for every
أُمَّةٍ nation رَّسُولٌ (is) a Messenger. فَإِذَا So when جَآءَ comes رَسُولُهُمْ their Messenger, قُضِىَ it will be judged بَيْنَهُم between them بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice, وَهُمْ and they
لَا (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ be wronged. وَيَقُولُونَ And they say, مَتَىٰ "When هَٰذَا (will) this, ٱلْوَعْدُ the promise (be fulfilled), إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَٰدِقِينَ truthful?"
قُل Say, لَّآ "Not أَمْلِكُ I have power لِنَفْسِى for myself ضَرًّا (for) any harm وَلَا and not نَفْعًا (for) any profit إِلَّا except مَا what شَآءَ Allah wills. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah wills. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لِكُلِّ For every أُمَّةٍ nation
أَجَلٌ (is) a term. إِذَا When جَآءَ comes أَجَلُهُمْ their term, فَلَا then not يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ they remain behind سَاعَةً an hour, وَلَا and not يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ they can precede (it)."
قُلْ Say, أَرَءَيْتُمْ "Do you see, إِنْ if أَتَىٰكُمْ comes to you عَذَابُهُۥ His punishment بَيَٰتًا (by) night أَوْ or نَهَارًا (by) day, مَّاذَا what (portion) يَسْتَعْجِلُ of it would (wish to) hasten *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مِنْهُ of it would (wish to) hasten *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals?" أَثُمَّ Is (it) then إِذَا when *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مَا when *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَقَعَ (it had) occurred ءَامَنتُم you (will) believe بِهِۦٓ in it? ءَآلْـَٰٔنَ Now? وَقَدْ And certainly كُنتُم you were بِهِۦ seeking to hasten it. *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ seeking to hasten it. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ثُمَّ Then قِيلَ it will be said لِلَّذِينَ to those who ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged, ذُوقُوا۟ "Taste عَذَابَ punishment ٱلْخُلْدِ the everlasting.
هَلْ Are you (being) recompensed *[meaning includes next or prev. word] تُجْزَوْنَ Are you (being) recompensed *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِلَّا except بِمَا for what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَكْسِبُونَ earn?" وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ And they ask you to inform
أَحَقٌّ "Is it true?" *[meaning includes next or prev. word] هُوَ "Is it true?" *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قُلْ Say, إِى "Yes, وَرَبِّىٓ by my Lord! إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it لَحَقٌّ (is) surely the truth, وَمَآ and not أَنتُم you بِمُعْجِزِينَ (can) escape (it)."
