وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ
And they ask you to hasten
بِٱلْعَذَابِ
the punishment.
وَلَن
But never will
يُخْلِفَ
Allah fail *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
ٱللَّهُ
Allah fail *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
وَعْدَهُۥ
(in) His Promise.
وَإِنَّ
And indeed,
يَوْمًا
a day
عِندَ with رَبِّكَ your Lord كَأَلْفِ (is) like a thousand سَنَةٍ year(s) مِّمَّا of what تَعُدُّونَ you count. وَكَأَيِّن And how many مِّن of
قَرْيَةٍ a township أَمْلَيْتُ I gave respite لَهَا to it, وَهِىَ while it ظَالِمَةٌ (was) doing wrong. ثُمَّ Then أَخَذْتُهَا I seized it وَإِلَىَّ and to Me ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination.
قُلْ Say, يَٰٓأَيُّهَا "O mankind! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلنَّاسُ "O mankind! *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِنَّمَآ Only أَنَا۠ I am لَكُمْ to you نَذِيرٌ a warner مُّبِينٌ clear." فَٱلَّذِينَ So those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds - لَهُم for them مَّغْفِرَةٌ (is) forgiveness وَرِزْقٌ and a provision كَرِيمٌ noble.
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who سَعَوْا۟ strove فِىٓ against ءَايَٰتِنَا Our Verses, مُعَٰجِزِينَ (to) cause failure, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions
ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire. وَمَآ And not أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن before you *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلِكَ before you *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مِن any رَّسُولٍ Messenger وَلَا and not نَبِىٍّ a Prophet إِلَّآ but
إِذَا when تَمَنَّىٰٓ he recited, أَلْقَى threw ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan فِىٓ in أُمْنِيَّتِهِۦ his recitation. فَيَنسَخُ But Allah abolishes *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ But Allah abolishes *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مَا what يُلْقِى throws
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan, ثُمَّ then يُحْكِمُ Allah will establish *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah will establish *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Verses. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise. لِّيَجْعَلَ That He may make
مَا what يُلْقِى the Shaitaan throws *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan throws *[meaning includes next or prev. word] فِتْنَةً a trial لِّلَّذِينَ for those فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease, وَٱلْقَاسِيَةِ and (are) hardened
قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers لَفِى (are) surely, in شِقَاقٍۭ schism بَعِيدٍ far. وَلِيَعْلَمَ And that may know
ٱلَّذِينَ those who أُوتُوا۟ have been given ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge أَنَّهُ that it ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord, فَيُؤْمِنُوا۟ and they believe بِهِۦ in it,
فَتُخْبِتَ and may humbly submit لَهُۥ to it قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts. وَإِنَّ And indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَهَادِ (is) surely (the) Guide ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe, إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ a Path
مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight. وَلَا And not يَزَالُ will cease ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve فِى (to be) in مِرْيَةٍ doubt مِّنْهُ of it حَتَّىٰ until
تَأْتِيَهُمُ comes to them ٱلسَّاعَةُ the Hour بَغْتَةً suddenly أَوْ or يَأْتِيَهُمْ comes to them عَذَابُ (the) punishment يَوْمٍ (of) a Day عَقِيمٍ barren.
