وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
أَوْحَيْنَآ
We have revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you
رُوحًا
an inspiration
مِّنْ
by
أَمْرِنَا
Our Command.
مَا
Not
كُنتَ
(did) you
تَدْرِى
know
مَا
what
ٱلْكِتَٰبُ
the Book (is)
وَلَا and not ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ the faith. وَلَٰكِن But جَعَلْنَٰهُ We have made it نُورًا a light, نَّهْدِى We guide بِهِۦ with it مَن whom نَّشَآءُ We will مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves.
وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you لَتَهْدِىٓ surely guide إِلَىٰ to صِرَٰطٍ (the) Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ Straight, صِرَٰطِ (The) path ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah, ٱلَّذِى the One لَهُۥ to Whom
مَا (belongs) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth. أَلَآ Unquestionably! إِلَى To ٱللَّهِ Allah تَصِيرُ reach ٱلْأُمُورُ all affairs.
لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَعْقِلُونَ understand. وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it فِىٓ (is) in أُمِّ (the) Mother ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book لَدَيْنَا with Us,
لَعَلِىٌّ surely exalted, حَكِيمٌ full of wisdom. أَفَنَضْرِبُ Then should We take away عَنكُمُ from you ٱلذِّكْرَ the Reminder, صَفْحًا disregarding (you),
أَن because كُنتُمْ you are قَوْمًا a people مُّسْرِفِينَ transgressing? وَكَمْ And how many أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مِن of نَّبِىٍّ a Prophet فِى among
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ the former (people), وَمَا And not يَأْتِيهِم came to them مِّن any Prophet *[meaning includes next or prev. word] نَّبِىٍّ any Prophet *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِلَّا but كَانُوا۟ they used to بِهِۦ mock at him. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock at him. *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
فَأَهْلَكْنَآ Then We destroyed أَشَدَّ stronger مِنْهُم than them بَطْشًا (in) power وَمَضَىٰ and has passed مَثَلُ (the) example ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people).
وَلَئِن And if سَأَلْتَهُم you ask them, مَّنْ "Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth?" لَيَقُولُنَّ They will surely say,
خَلَقَهُنَّ "Created them ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower," ٱلَّذِى The One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth
مَهْدًا a bed, وَجَعَلَ and made لَكُمْ for you فِيهَا therein سُبُلًا roads لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَهْتَدُونَ (be) guided,
وَلَا and not ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ the faith. وَلَٰكِن But جَعَلْنَٰهُ We have made it نُورًا a light, نَّهْدِى We guide بِهِۦ with it مَن whom نَّشَآءُ We will مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves.

سورة Az-Zukhruf
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
حمٓ
Ha Meem.
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ
By the Book
ٱلْمُبِينِ
the clear,
إِنَّا
Indeed, We
جَعَلْنَٰهُ
(have) made it
قُرْءَٰنًا
a Quran
عَرَبِيًّا
(in) Arabic
لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَعْقِلُونَ understand. وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed, it فِىٓ (is) in أُمِّ (the) Mother ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book لَدَيْنَا with Us,
