خَلَقَكُم
He created you
مِّن
from
نَّفْسٍ
a soul
وَٰحِدَةٍ
single.
ثُمَّ
Then
جَعَلَ
He made
مِنْهَا
from it
زَوْجَهَا
its mate.
وَأَنزَلَ
And He sent down
لَكُم
for you
مِّنَ of ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ the cattle ثَمَٰنِيَةَ eight أَزْوَٰجٍ kinds. يَخْلُقُكُمْ He creates you فِى in بُطُونِ (the) wombs أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ (of) your mothers,
خَلْقًا creation مِّنۢ after *[meaning includes next or prev. word] بَعْدِ after *[meaning includes next or prev. word] خَلْقٍ creation, فِى in ظُلُمَٰتٍ darkness[es] ثَلَٰثٍ three. ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah رَبُّكُمْ your Lord; لَهُ for Him
ٱلْمُلْكُ (is) the dominion. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ He. فَأَنَّىٰ Then how تُصْرَفُونَ are you turning away? إِن If تَكْفُرُوا۟ you disbelieve فَإِنَّ then indeed,
ٱللَّهَ Allah غَنِىٌّ (is) free from need عَنكُمْ of you. وَلَا And not يَرْضَىٰ He likes لِعِبَادِهِ in His slaves ٱلْكُفْرَ ungratefulness. وَإِن And if تَشْكُرُوا۟ you are grateful يَرْضَهُ He likes it
لَكُمْ in you. وَلَا And not تَزِرُ will bear وَازِرَةٌ bearer of burdens وِزْرَ (the) burden أُخْرَىٰ (of) another. ثُمَّ Then إِلَىٰ to رَبِّكُم your Lord مَّرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return,
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you بِمَا about what كُنتُمْ you used to تَعْمَلُونَ do. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He عَلِيمٌۢ (is) the All-Knower بِذَاتِ of what (is) in the breasts. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلصُّدُورِ of what (is) in the breasts. *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
وَإِذَا And when مَسَّ touches ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ [the] man ضُرٌّ adversity, دَعَا he calls رَبَّهُۥ his Lord مُنِيبًا turning إِلَيْهِ to Him; ثُمَّ then إِذَا when خَوَّلَهُۥ He bestows on him نِعْمَةً a favor
مِّنْهُ from Himself, نَسِىَ he forgets مَا (for) what كَانَ he used to call *[meaning includes next or prev. word] يَدْعُوٓا۟ he used to call *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِلَيْهِ [to] Him مِن before, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلُ before, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَجَعَلَ and he sets up لِلَّهِ to Allah أَندَادًا rivals لِّيُضِلَّ to mislead
عَن from سَبِيلِهِۦ His Path. قُلْ Say, تَمَتَّعْ "Enjoy بِكُفْرِكَ in your disbelief قَلِيلًا (for) a little. إِنَّكَ Indeed, you مِنْ (are) of أَصْحَٰبِ (the) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire."
أَمَّنْ Is (one) who هُوَ [he] قَٰنِتٌ (is) devoutly obedient - ءَانَآءَ (during) hours ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night, سَاجِدًا prostrating وَقَآئِمًا and standing, يَحْذَرُ fearing ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ the Hereafter
وَيَرْجُوا۟ and hoping رَحْمَةَ (for the) Mercy رَبِّهِۦ (of) his Lord? قُلْ Say, هَلْ "Are يَسْتَوِى equal ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَعْلَمُونَ know وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who
لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know?" إِنَّمَا Only يَتَذَكَّرُ will take heed أُو۟لُوا۟ those of understanding. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ those of understanding. *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قُلْ Say, يَٰعِبَادِ "O My slaves ٱلَّذِينَ [those] who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe! ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear رَبَّكُمْ your Lord. لِلَّذِينَ For those who أَحْسَنُوا۟ do good فِى in هَٰذِهِ this ٱلدُّنْيَا world حَسَنَةٌ (is) good,
وَأَرْضُ and the earth ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah وَٰسِعَةٌ (is) spacious. إِنَّمَا Only يُوَفَّى will be paid back in full ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ the patient ones أَجْرَهُم their reward بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ account."
