رَّبُّ
Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth
وَمَا
and whatever
بَيْنَهُمَا
(is) between both of them,
فَٱعْبُدْهُ
so worship Him
وَٱصْطَبِرْ
and be constant
لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦ
in His worship.
هَلْ Do تَعْلَمُ you know لَهُۥ for Him سَمِيًّا any similarity? وَيَقُولُ And says ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ [the] man, أَءِذَا "What! When *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مَا "What! When *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مِتُّ I am dead, لَسَوْفَ surely will
أُخْرَجُ I be brought forth حَيًّا alive?" أَوَلَا Does not يَذْكُرُ remember ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ [the] man أَنَّا that We, خَلَقْنَٰهُ We created him مِن before, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] قَبْلُ before, *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
وَلَمْ while not يَكُ he was شَيْـًٔا anything? فَوَرَبِّكَ So by your Lord, لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ surely, We will gather them وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ and the devils, ثُمَّ then
لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ surely, We will bring them حَوْلَ around جَهَنَّمَ Hell جِثِيًّا bent (on) knees. ثُمَّ Then لَنَنزِعَنَّ surely, We will drag out مِن from كُلِّ every
شِيعَةٍ sect, أَيُّهُمْ those of them أَشَدُّ (who were) worst عَلَى against ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious عِتِيًّا (in) rebellion. ثُمَّ Then لَنَحْنُ surely, We أَعْلَمُ know best بِٱلَّذِينَ [of] those who
هُمْ [they] أَوْلَىٰ (are) most worthy بِهَا therein صِلِيًّا (of) being burnt. وَإِن And (there is) not مِّنكُمْ (any) of you إِلَّا but وَارِدُهَا (will be) passing over it. كَانَ (This) is عَلَىٰ upon رَبِّكَ your Lord
حَتْمًا an inevitability مَّقْضِيًّا decreed. ثُمَّ Then نُنَجِّى We will deliver ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوا۟ feared (Allah), وَّنَذَرُ and We will leave ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers
فِيهَا therein جِثِيًّا bent (on) knees. وَإِذَا And when تُتْلَىٰ are recited عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَايَٰتُنَا Our Verses بَيِّنَٰتٍ clear, قَالَ say ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved
لِلَّذِينَ to those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believed, أَىُّ "Which ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ (of) the two groups خَيْرٌ (is) better مَّقَامًا (in) position. وَأَحْسَنُ and best نَدِيًّا (in) assembly?"
وَكَمْ And how many أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed قَبْلَهُم before them مِّن of قَرْنٍ a generation - هُمْ they أَحْسَنُ (were) better أَثَٰثًا (in) possessions وَرِءْيًا and appearance?
قُلْ Say, مَن "Whoever كَانَ is فِى in ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ [the] error, فَلْيَمْدُدْ then surely will extend لَهُ for him ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ the Most Gracious مَدًّا an extension, حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when رَأَوْا۟ they see
مَا what يُوعَدُونَ they were promised, إِمَّا either ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment وَإِمَّا or ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour, فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ then they will know مَنْ who هُوَ [he] شَرٌّ (is) worst
مَّكَانًا (in) position وَأَضْعَفُ and weaker جُندًا (in) forces." وَيَزِيدُ And Allah increases *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ And Allah increases *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ accept guidance, هُدًى (in) guidance.
وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُ And the everlasting ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ good deeds خَيْرٌ (are) better عِندَ near رَبِّكَ your Lord ثَوَابًا (for) reward وَخَيْرٌ and better مَّرَدًّا (for) return.
