وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous (deeds),
لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ
surely, We will remove
عَنْهُمْ
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ
their evil deeds,
وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ and We will surely reward them أَحْسَنَ (the) best ٱلَّذِى (of) what كَانُوا۟ they used يَعْمَلُونَ (to) do. وَوَصَّيْنَا And We have enjoined ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ (on) man
بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ goodness to his parents, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] حُسْنًا goodness to his parents, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَإِن but if جَٰهَدَاكَ they both strive against you لِتُشْرِكَ to make you associate بِى with Me مَا what لَيْسَ not لَكَ you have بِهِۦ of it عِلْمٌ any knowledge,
فَلَا then (do) not تُطِعْهُمَآ obey both of them. إِلَىَّ To Me مَرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return, فَأُنَبِّئُكُم and I will inform you بِمَا about what كُنتُمْ you used تَعْمَلُونَ (to) do.
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ We will surely admit them فِى among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.
وَمِنَ And of ٱلنَّاسِ the people مَن (is he) who يَقُولُ says, ءَامَنَّا "We believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah." فَإِذَآ But when أُوذِىَ he is harmed فِى in ٱللَّهِ (the Way of) Allah جَعَلَ he considers
فِتْنَةَ (the) trial ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people كَعَذَابِ as (the) punishment ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. وَلَئِن But if جَآءَ comes نَصْرٌ victory مِّن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord, لَيَقُولُنَّ surely they say,
إِنَّا "Indeed, we كُنَّا were مَعَكُمْ with you." أَوَلَيْسَ Is not ٱللَّهُ Allah بِأَعْلَمَ most knowing بِمَا of what فِى (is) in صُدُورِ (the) breasts ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds?
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ And Allah will surely make evident *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ And Allah will surely make evident *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe, وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ And He will surely make evident ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ the hypocrites.
وَقَالَ And said, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve لِلَّذِينَ to those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe, ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ "Follow سَبِيلَنَا our way,
وَلْنَحْمِلْ and we will carry خَطَٰيَٰكُمْ your sins." وَمَا But not هُم they بِحَٰمِلِينَ (are) going to carry مِنْ of خَطَٰيَٰهُم their sins مِّن any
شَىْءٍ thing. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they لَكَٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars. وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ But surely they will carry أَثْقَالَهُمْ their burdens وَأَثْقَالًا and burdens مَّعَ with
أَثْقَالِهِمْ their burdens, وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّ and surely they will be questioned يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection عَمَّا about what كَانُوا۟ they used يَفْتَرُونَ (to) invent.
وَلَقَدْ And verily, أَرْسَلْنَا We sent نُوحًا Nuh إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِۦ his people, فَلَبِثَ and he remained فِيهِمْ among them أَلْفَ a thousand سَنَةٍ year(s),
إِلَّا save خَمْسِينَ fifty عَامًا year(s), فَأَخَذَهُمُ then seized them ٱلطُّوفَانُ the flood, وَهُمْ while they ظَٰلِمُونَ (were) wrongdoers.
وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ and We will surely reward them أَحْسَنَ (the) best ٱلَّذِى (of) what كَانُوا۟ they used يَعْمَلُونَ (to) do. وَوَصَّيْنَا And We have enjoined ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ (on) man

فَلَا then (do) not تُطِعْهُمَآ obey both of them. إِلَىَّ To Me مَرْجِعُكُمْ (is) your return, فَأُنَبِّئُكُم and I will inform you بِمَا about what كُنتُمْ you used تَعْمَلُونَ (to) do.
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ We will surely admit them فِى among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous.

وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ And Allah will surely make evident *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ And Allah will surely make evident *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe, وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ And He will surely make evident ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ the hypocrites.
وَقَالَ And said, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve لِلَّذِينَ to those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe, ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ "Follow سَبِيلَنَا our way,
وَلْنَحْمِلْ and we will carry خَطَٰيَٰكُمْ your sins." وَمَا But not هُم they بِحَٰمِلِينَ (are) going to carry مِنْ of خَطَٰيَٰهُم their sins مِّن any
شَىْءٍ thing. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they لَكَٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars. وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ But surely they will carry أَثْقَالَهُمْ their burdens وَأَثْقَالًا and burdens مَّعَ with
أَثْقَالِهِمْ their burdens, وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّ and surely they will be questioned يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection عَمَّا about what كَانُوا۟ they used يَفْتَرُونَ (to) invent.
وَلَقَدْ And verily, أَرْسَلْنَا We sent نُوحًا Nuh إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِۦ his people, فَلَبِثَ and he remained فِيهِمْ among them أَلْفَ a thousand سَنَةٍ year(s),
إِلَّا save خَمْسِينَ fifty عَامًا year(s), فَأَخَذَهُمُ then seized them ٱلطُّوفَانُ the flood, وَهُمْ while they ظَٰلِمُونَ (were) wrongdoers.
