وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
And the forerunners,
ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
the first
مِنَ
among
ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ
the emigrants
وَٱلْأَنصَارِ
and the helpers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم followed them بِإِحْسَٰنٍ in righteousness, رَّضِىَ is pleased ٱللَّهُ Allah عَنْهُمْ with them, وَرَضُوا۟ and they are pleased عَنْهُ with Him. وَأَعَدَّ And He has prepared
لَهُمْ for them جَنَّٰتٍ Gardens تَجْرِى flows تَحْتَهَا underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers, خَٰلِدِينَ will abide فِيهَآ in it أَبَدًا forever.
ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great. وَمِمَّنْ And among those حَوْلَكُم around you مِّنَ of ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins
مُنَٰفِقُونَ (are) hypocrites وَمِنْ and (also) from أَهْلِ people ٱلْمَدِينَةِ (of) the Madinah. مَرَدُوا۟ They persist عَلَى in ٱلنِّفَاقِ the hypocrisy, لَا not تَعْلَمُهُمْ you know them,
نَحْنُ We نَعْلَمُهُمْ [We] know them. سَنُعَذِّبُهُم We will punish them مَّرَّتَيْنِ twice ثُمَّ then يُرَدُّونَ they will be returned إِلَىٰ to عَذَابٍ a punishment
عَظِيمٍ great. وَءَاخَرُونَ And others ٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ (who have) acknowledged بِذُنُوبِهِمْ their sins. خَلَطُوا۟ They had mixed عَمَلًا a deed صَٰلِحًا righteous
وَءَاخَرَ (with) other سَيِّئًا (that was) evil. عَسَى Perhaps ٱللَّهُ Allah أَن [that] يَتُوبَ will turn (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
خُذْ Take مِنْ from أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ their wealth صَدَقَةً a charity, تُطَهِّرُهُمْ purifying them وَتُزَكِّيهِم and cause them increase بِهَا by it, وَصَلِّ and bless عَلَيْهِمْ [upon] them.
إِنَّ Indeed, صَلَوٰتَكَ your blessings سَكَنٌ (are a) reassurance لَّهُمْ for them. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer, عَلِيمٌ All-Knower. أَلَمْ Do not يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know أَنَّ that
ٱللَّهَ Allah هُوَ (is) He يَقْبَلُ (Who) accepts ٱلتَّوْبَةَ the repentance عَنْ from عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves وَيَأْخُذُ and takes ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ the charities, وَأَنَّ and that
ٱللَّهَ Allah, هُوَ He ٱلتَّوَّابُ (is) the Acceptor of repentance, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful. وَقُلِ And say, ٱعْمَلُوا۟ "Do, فَسَيَرَى then will see ٱللَّهُ Allah عَمَلَكُمْ your deed
وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger, وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ and the believers. وَسَتُرَدُّونَ And you will be brought back إِلَىٰ to عَٰلِمِ (the) Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the seen,
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you بِمَا of what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do." وَءَاخَرُونَ And others مُرْجَوْنَ deferred لِأَمْرِ for the Command ٱللَّهِ of Allah
إِمَّا whether يُعَذِّبُهُمْ He will punish them وَإِمَّا or يَتُوبُ He will turn (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower, حَكِيمٌ All-Wise.
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم followed them بِإِحْسَٰنٍ in righteousness, رَّضِىَ is pleased ٱللَّهُ Allah عَنْهُمْ with them, وَرَضُوا۟ and they are pleased عَنْهُ with Him. وَأَعَدَّ And He has prepared
