ٱلتَّٰٓئِبُونَ
Those who turn in repentance,
ٱلْعَٰبِدُونَ
those who worship,
ٱلْحَٰمِدُونَ
those who praise,
ٱلسَّٰٓئِحُونَ
those who go out,
ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ those who bow down, ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ those who prostrate, ٱلْءَامِرُونَ those who enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right
وَٱلنَّاهُونَ and those who forbid عَنِ [on] ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong, وَٱلْحَٰفِظُونَ and those who observe لِحُدُودِ (the) limits ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah.
وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (to) the believers. مَا Not كَانَ (it) is لِلنَّبِىِّ for the Prophet وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe
أَن that يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ they ask forgiveness لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists, وَلَوْ even though كَانُوٓا۟ they be أُو۟لِى near of kin, *[meaning includes next word] قُرْبَىٰ near of kin, *[meaning includes prev. word]
مِنۢ after *[meaning includes next word] بَعْدِ after *[meaning includes prev. word] مَا [what] تَبَيَّنَ has become clear لَهُمْ to them, أَنَّهُمْ that they أَصْحَٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire. وَمَا And not
كَانَ was ٱسْتِغْفَارُ (the) asking of forgiveness إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (by) Ibrahim لِأَبِيهِ for his father إِلَّا except عَن because مَّوْعِدَةٍ (of) a promise وَعَدَهَآ he had promised it
إِيَّاهُ (to) him. فَلَمَّا But when تَبَيَّنَ it became clear لَهُۥٓ to him أَنَّهُۥ that he عَدُوٌّ (was) an enemy لِّلَّهِ to Allah, تَبَرَّأَ he disassociated مِنْهُ from him. إِنَّ Indeed, إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim
لَأَوَّٰهٌ (was) compassionate, حَلِيمٌ forbearing. وَمَا And not كَانَ is ٱللَّهُ (for) Allah لِيُضِلَّ that He lets go astray قَوْمًۢا a people بَعْدَ after إِذْ [when]
هَدَىٰهُمْ He has guided them حَتَّىٰ until يُبَيِّنَ He makes clear لَهُم to them مَّا what يَتَّقُونَ they should fear. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah بِكُلِّ (of) every شَىْءٍ thing
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَهُۥ to Him (belongs) مُلْكُ the dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, يُحْىِۦ He gives life,
وَيُمِيتُ and He causes death. وَمَا And not لَكُم for you مِّن besides *[meaning includes next word] دُونِ besides *[meaning includes prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah مِن any وَلِىٍّ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper.
لَّقَد Verily, تَّابَ turned (in mercy) ٱللَّهُ Allah عَلَى to ٱلنَّبِىِّ the Prophet, وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ and the emigrants, وَٱلْأَنصَارِ and the helpers ٱلَّذِينَ [those] who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُ followed him, فِى in سَاعَةِ (the) hour ٱلْعُسْرَةِ (of) difficulty مِنۢ after *[meaning includes next word] بَعْدِ after *[meaning includes prev. word] مَا [what] كَادَ had nearly يَزِيغُ deviated قُلُوبُ (the) hearts
فَرِيقٍ (of) a party مِّنْهُمْ of them, ثُمَّ then تَابَ He turned (in mercy) عَلَيْهِمْ to them. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِهِمْ to them رَءُوفٌ (is) Most Kind, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ those who bow down, ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ those who prostrate, ٱلْءَامِرُونَ those who enjoin بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right
