قَالَ
He said,
يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ
"O Iblis!
مَا
What
لَكَ
(is) for you
أَلَّا
that not
تَكُونَ
you are
مَعَ
with
ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
those who prostrated?"
قَالَ
He said,
لَمْ
"I am not *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
أَكُن
"I am not *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
لِّأَسْجُدَ (one) to prostrate لِبَشَرٍ to a human خَلَقْتَهُۥ whom You created, مِن (out) of صَلْصَٰلٍ clay مِّنْ from حَمَإٍ black mud مَّسْنُونٍ altered."
قَالَ He said, فَٱخْرُجْ "Then get out مِنْهَا of it, فَإِنَّكَ for indeed, you رَجِيمٌ (are) expelled. وَإِنَّ And indeed, عَلَيْكَ upon you ٱللَّعْنَةَ (will be) the curse إِلَىٰ till يَوْمِ (the) Day
ٱلدِّينِ (of) [the] Judgment." قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "O my Lord! فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ Then give me respite إِلَىٰ till يَوْمِ (the) Day يُبْعَثُونَ they are raised." قَالَ He said, فَإِنَّكَ "Then indeed you,
مِنَ (are) of ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ the ones given respite. إِلَىٰ Till يَوْمِ the Day ٱلْوَقْتِ (of) the time ٱلْمَعْلُومِ well-known." قَالَ He said, رَبِّ "My Lord! بِمَآ Because
أَغْوَيْتَنِى You misled me, لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ surely, I will make (evil) fair-seeming لَهُمْ to them فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ and I will mislead them أَجْمَعِينَ all
إِلَّا Except, عِبَادَكَ Your slaves مِنْهُمُ among them ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ the ones who are sincere." قَالَ He said, هَٰذَا "This صِرَٰطٌ (is) the way عَلَىَّ to Me
مُسْتَقِيمٌ straight. إِنَّ Indeed, عِبَادِى My slaves, لَيْسَ not لَكَ you have عَلَيْهِمْ over them سُلْطَٰنٌ any authority, إِلَّا except مَنِ those who
ٱتَّبَعَكَ follow you, مِنَ of ٱلْغَاوِينَ the ones who go astray." وَإِنَّ And indeed, جَهَنَّمَ Hell لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ (is) surely the promised place for them أَجْمَعِينَ all.
لَهَا For it سَبْعَةُ (are) seven أَبْوَٰبٍ gates, لِّكُلِّ for each بَابٍ gate مِّنْهُمْ among them جُزْءٌ (is) a portion مَّقْسُومٌ assigned. إِنَّ Indeed,
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous فِى (will be) in جَنَّٰتٍ Gardens وَعُيُونٍ and water springs. ٱدْخُلُوهَا "Enter it بِسَلَٰمٍ in peace, ءَامِنِينَ secure."
وَنَزَعْنَا And We (will) remove مَا what فِى (is) in صُدُورِهِم their breasts مِّنْ of غِلٍّ rancor إِخْوَٰنًا (they will be) brothers عَلَىٰ on سُرُرٍ thrones مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ facing each other.
لَا Not يَمَسُّهُمْ will touch them فِيهَا therein نَصَبٌ fatigue, وَمَا and not هُم they مِّنْهَا from it بِمُخْرَجِينَ will be removed.
نَبِّئْ Inform عِبَادِىٓ My slaves أَنِّىٓ that I, أَنَا I am ٱلْغَفُورُ the Oft-Forgiving, ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful. وَأَنَّ And that عَذَابِى My punishment,
هُوَ it ٱلْعَذَابُ (is) the punishment ٱلْأَلِيمُ the most painful. وَنَبِّئْهُمْ And inform them عَن about ضَيْفِ (the) guests إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim,
لِّأَسْجُدَ (one) to prostrate لِبَشَرٍ to a human خَلَقْتَهُۥ whom You created, مِن (out) of صَلْصَٰلٍ clay مِّنْ from حَمَإٍ black mud مَّسْنُونٍ altered."
