وَلَقَدْ
And verily
جَعَلْنَا
We have placed
فِى
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the heavens
بُرُوجًا
constellations
وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا
and We have beautified it
لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ
for the observers.
وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا And We have protected it مِن from كُلِّ every شَيْطَٰنٍ devil رَّجِيمٍ accursed. إِلَّا Except مَنِ (one) who ٱسْتَرَقَ steals ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing,
فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ then follows him شِهَابٌ a burning flame مُّبِينٌ clear. وَٱلْأَرْضَ And the earth, مَدَدْنَٰهَا We have spread it وَأَلْقَيْنَا and [We] cast فِيهَا therein
رَوَٰسِىَ firm mountains وَأَنۢبَتْنَا and [We] caused to grow فِيهَا therein مِن of كُلِّ every شَىْءٍ thing مَّوْزُونٍ well-balanced. وَجَعَلْنَا And We have made لَكُمْ for you
فِيهَا therein مَعَٰيِشَ means of living وَمَن and whom لَّسْتُمْ you are not لَهُۥ for him بِرَٰزِقِينَ providers. وَإِن And not مِّن (is) any شَىْءٍ thing إِلَّا but
عِندَنَا with Us خَزَآئِنُهُۥ (are) its treasures, وَمَا and not نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ We send it down إِلَّا except بِقَدَرٍ in a measure مَّعْلُومٍ known. وَأَرْسَلْنَا And We have sent
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ the winds لَوَٰقِحَ fertilizing, فَأَنزَلْنَا and We sent down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءً water, فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ and We gave it to you to drink. وَمَآ And not أَنتُمْ you
لَهُۥ of it بِخَٰزِنِينَ (are) retainers. وَإِنَّا And indeed, We, لَنَحْنُ surely [We] نُحْىِۦ We give life وَنُمِيتُ and We cause death, وَنَحْنُ and We ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ (are) the Inheritors.
وَلَقَدْ And verily عَلِمْنَا We know ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ the preceding ones مِنكُمْ among you وَلَقَدْ and verily, عَلِمْنَا We know ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ the later ones.
وَإِنَّ And indeed, رَبَّكَ your Lord, هُوَ He يَحْشُرُهُمْ will gather them. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He حَكِيمٌ (is) All-Wise, عَلِيمٌ All-Knowing. وَلَقَدْ And verily, خَلَقْنَا We created
ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ humankind مِن (out) of صَلْصَٰلٍ sounding clay مِّنْ from حَمَإٍ black mud مَّسْنُونٍ altered. وَٱلْجَآنَّ And the jinn خَلَقْنَٰهُ We created it مِن before *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
قَبْلُ before *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مِن from نَّارِ fire ٱلسَّمُومِ scorching. وَإِذْ And when قَالَ your Lord said *[meaning includes next or prev. word] رَبُّكَ your Lord said *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ to the Angels, إِنِّى "Indeed, I خَٰلِقٌۢ (will) create بَشَرًا a human being
مِّن (out) of صَلْصَٰلٍ clay مِّنْ from حَمَإٍ black mud مَّسْنُونٍ altered. فَإِذَا So, when سَوَّيْتُهُۥ I have fashioned him وَنَفَخْتُ and [I] breathed فِيهِ into him
مِن of رُّوحِى My spirit, فَقَعُوا۟ then fall down لَهُۥ to him سَٰجِدِينَ prostrating." فَسَجَدَ So prostrated ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels كُلُّهُمْ all of them
أَجْمَعُونَ together, إِلَّآ Except إِبْلِيسَ Iblis. أَبَىٰٓ He refused أَن to يَكُونَ be مَعَ with ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ those who prostrated.
وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا And We have protected it مِن from كُلِّ every شَيْطَٰنٍ devil رَّجِيمٍ accursed. إِلَّا Except مَنِ (one) who ٱسْتَرَقَ steals ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing,
