سورة An-Naml
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
طسٓ
Ta Seen.
تِلْكَ
These
ءَايَٰتُ
(are the) Verses
ٱلْقُرْءَانِ
(of) the Quran
وَكِتَابٍ
and a Book
مُّبِينٍ
clear
هُدًى
A guidance
وَبُشْرَىٰ
and glad tidings
لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers, ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يُقِيمُونَ establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَيُؤْتُونَ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَهُم and they
بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter هُمْ [they] يُوقِنُونَ believe with certainty. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, زَيَّنَّا We have made fair-seeming لَهُمْ to them
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ their deeds, فَهُمْ so they يَعْمَهُونَ wander blindly. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones, لَهُمْ for them سُوٓءُ (is) an evil ٱلْعَذَابِ [the] punishment
وَهُمْ and they فِى in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ the Hereafter هُمُ [they] ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ (will be) the greatest losers. وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you لَتُلَقَّى surely, receive ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran مِن from [near] *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
لَّدُنْ from [near] *[meaning includes next or prev. word] حَكِيمٍ the All-Wise, عَلِيمٍ the All-Knower. إِذْ When قَالَ said مُوسَىٰ Musa لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ to his family, إِنِّىٓ "Indeed, I ءَانَسْتُ perceive نَارًا a fire. سَـَٔاتِيكُم I will bring you
مِّنْهَا from it بِخَبَرٍ some information أَوْ or ءَاتِيكُم I will bring you بِشِهَابٍ a torch قَبَسٍ burning لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَصْطَلُونَ warm yourselves." فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَهَا he came to it,
نُودِىَ he was called أَنۢ [that] بُورِكَ "Blessed is مَن who فِى (is) at ٱلنَّارِ the fire وَمَنْ and whoever حَوْلَهَا (is) around it. وَسُبْحَٰنَ And glory be ٱللَّهِ (to) Allah رَبِّ (the) Lord
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds. يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ O Musa! إِنَّهُۥٓ Indeed, أَنَا I Am ٱللَّهُ Allah, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise." وَأَلْقِ And, "Throw عَصَاكَ your staff."
فَلَمَّا But when رَءَاهَا he saw it تَهْتَزُّ moving كَأَنَّهَا as if it جَآنٌّ (were) a snake وَلَّىٰ he turned back مُدْبِرًا (in) flight وَلَمْ and (did) not يُعَقِّبْ look back. يَٰمُوسَىٰ "O Musa! لَا (Do) not تَخَفْ fear.
إِنِّى Indeed, [I] لَا (do) not يَخَافُ fear لَدَىَّ (in) My presence ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ the Messengers. إِلَّا Except مَن who ظَلَمَ wrongs ثُمَّ then بَدَّلَ substitutes حُسْنًۢا good بَعْدَ after
سُوٓءٍ evil, فَإِنِّى then indeed, I Am غَفُورٌ Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful. وَأَدْخِلْ And enter يَدَكَ your hand فِى into جَيْبِكَ your bosom تَخْرُجْ it will come forth بَيْضَآءَ white مِنْ without *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
غَيْرِ without *[meaning includes next or prev. word] سُوٓءٍ harm. فِى (These are) among تِسْعِ nine ءَايَٰتٍ signs إِلَىٰ to فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ and his people. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ are قَوْمًا a people فَٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient."
فَلَمَّا But when جَآءَتْهُمْ came to them ءَايَٰتُنَا Our Signs مُبْصِرَةً visible, قَالُوا۟ they said, هَٰذَا "This سِحْرٌ (is) a magic مُّبِينٌ manifest."
