فَلَمَّآ
Then when
أَسْلَمَا
both of them had submitted
وَتَلَّهُۥ
and he put him down
لِلْجَبِينِ
upon his forehead,
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ
And We called out to him
أَن
that
يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
"O Ibrahim!
قَدْ Verily, صَدَّقْتَ you have fulfilled ٱلرُّءْيَآ the vision." إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى [We] reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers. إِنَّ Indeed,
هَٰذَا this لَهُوَ (was) surely [it] ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ the trial ٱلْمُبِينُ clear. وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ And We ransomed him بِذِبْحٍ with a sacrifice عَظِيمٍ great, وَتَرَكْنَا And We left
عَلَيْهِ for him فِى among ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ the later generations. سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَىٰٓ on إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim." كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَجْزِى We reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers. إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he (was) مِنْ of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believing. وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ And We gave him glad tidings
بِإِسْحَٰقَ of Isaac, نَبِيًّا a Prophet مِّنَ among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ the righteous. وَبَٰرَكْنَا And We blessed عَلَيْهِ him وَعَلَىٰٓ and [on] إِسْحَٰقَ Isaac.
وَمِن And of ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا their offspring مُحْسِنٌ (are) good-doers وَظَالِمٌ and unjust لِّنَفْسِهِۦ to himself مُبِينٌ clear. وَلَقَدْ And verily, مَنَنَّا We conferred Favor
عَلَىٰ upon مُوسَىٰ Musa وَهَٰرُونَ and Harun. وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا And We saved both of them وَقَوْمَهُمَا and their people مِنَ from ٱلْكَرْبِ the distress
ٱلْعَظِيمِ the great, وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ And We helped them, فَكَانُوا۟ so they became *[meaning includes next or prev. word] هُمُ so they became *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ the victors. وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا And We gave both of them
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ the clear. وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا And We guided both of them ٱلصِّرَٰطَ (to) the Path ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ the Straight.
وَتَرَكْنَا And We left عَلَيْهِمَا for both of them, فِى among ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ the later generations. سَلَٰمٌ "Peace be عَلَىٰ upon مُوسَىٰ Musa
وَهَٰرُونَ and Harun." إِنَّا Indeed, We كَذَٰلِكَ thus نَجْزِى reward ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers. إِنَّهُمَا Indeed, both of them
مِنْ (were) of عِبَادِنَا Our slaves ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ believing. وَإِنَّ And indeed, إِلْيَاسَ Elijah لَمِنَ (was) surely of ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers.
إِذْ When قَالَ he said لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ to his people, أَلَا "Will not تَتَّقُونَ you fear? أَتَدْعُونَ Do you call بَعْلًا Baal وَتَذَرُونَ and you forsake أَحْسَنَ (the) Best
ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ (of) Creators - ٱللَّهَ Allah, رَبَّكُمْ your Lord وَرَبَّ and (the) Lord ءَابَآئِكُمُ (of) your forefathers?" *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (of) your forefathers?" *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
