إِنَّآ
Indeed We,
أَنزَلْنَا
We revealed
عَلَيْكَ
to you
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
لِلنَّاسِ
for [the] mankind
بِٱلْحَقِّ
in truth.
فَمَنِ
So whoever
ٱهْتَدَىٰ
accepts guidance,
فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ then (it is) for his soul; وَمَن and whoever ضَلَّ goes astray فَإِنَّمَا then only يَضِلُّ he strays عَلَيْهَا against his (soul). وَمَآ And not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them
بِوَكِيلٍ a manager. ٱللَّهُ Allah يَتَوَفَّى takes ٱلْأَنفُسَ the souls حِينَ (at the) time مَوْتِهَا (of) their death, وَٱلَّتِى and the one who
لَمْ (does) not تَمُتْ die فِى in مَنَامِهَا their sleep. فَيُمْسِكُ Then He keeps ٱلَّتِى the one whom, قَضَىٰ He has decreed عَلَيْهَا for them ٱلْمَوْتَ the death,
وَيُرْسِلُ and sends ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ the others إِلَىٰٓ for أَجَلٍ a term مُّسَمًّى specified. إِنَّ Indeed, فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَءَايَٰتٍ surely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍ for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ who ponder. أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ have they taken مِن besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] دُونِ besides *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ Allah شُفَعَآءَ intercessors? قُلْ Say,
أَوَلَوْ "Even though كَانُوا۟ they were لَا not يَمْلِكُونَ possessing شَيْـًٔا anything, وَلَا and not يَعْقِلُونَ they understand?" قُل Say,
لِّلَّهِ "To Allah (belongs) ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ the intercession جَمِيعًا all. لَّهُۥ For Him مُلْكُ (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth. ثُمَّ Then
إِلَيْهِ to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned." وَإِذَا And when ذُكِرَ Allah is mentioned *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah is mentioned *[meaning includes next or prev. word] وَحْدَهُ Alone, ٱشْمَأَزَّتْ shrink with aversion
قُلُوبُ (the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter, وَإِذَا and when ذُكِرَ are mentioned ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن besides Him, *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] إِذَا behold! هُمْ They يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ rejoice. قُلِ Say, ٱللَّهُمَّ "O Allah! فَاطِرَ Creator ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, عَٰلِمَ Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the witnessed, أَنتَ You تَحْكُمُ will judge بَيْنَ between عِبَادِكَ Your slaves
فِى in مَا what كَانُوا۟ they used to فِيهِ therein يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ." وَلَوْ And if *[meaning includes next or prev. word] أَنَّ And if *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لِلَّذِينَ those who ظَلَمُوا۟ did wrong مَا (had) whatever فِى (is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth جَمِيعًا all وَمِثْلَهُۥ and (the) like of it مَعَهُۥ with it, لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ they would ransom بِهِۦ with it مِن from سُوٓءِ (the) evil ٱلْعَذَابِ (of) the punishment
يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection. وَبَدَا And (will) appear لَهُم to them مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah مَا what لَمْ not يَكُونُوا۟ they had يَحْتَسِبُونَ taken into account.
فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ then (it is) for his soul; وَمَن and whoever ضَلَّ goes astray فَإِنَّمَا then only يَضِلُّ he strays عَلَيْهَا against his (soul). وَمَآ And not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them
بِوَكِيلٍ a manager. ٱللَّهُ Allah يَتَوَفَّى takes ٱلْأَنفُسَ the souls حِينَ (at the) time مَوْتِهَا (of) their death, وَٱلَّتِى and the one who

وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth, عَٰلِمَ Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ and the witnessed, أَنتَ You تَحْكُمُ will judge بَيْنَ between عِبَادِكَ Your slaves
