سورة Aal-i-Imraan
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الٓمٓ
Alif Laam Meem
ٱللَّهُ
Allah -
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
God
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him,
ٱلْحَىُّ
the Ever-Living
ٱلْقَيُّومُ
the Sustainer of all that exists.
نَزَّلَ
He revealed
عَلَيْكَ
to you
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
بِٱلْحَقِّ in [the] truth مُصَدِّقًا confirming لِّمَا that which بَيْنَ (was) يَدَيْهِ before it, وَأَنزَلَ and He revealed ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ the Taurat وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ and the Injeel, مِن From
قَبْلُ before (this), هُدًى (as) guidance لِّلنَّاسِ for the mankind. وَأَنزَلَ And (He) revealed ٱلْفُرْقَانَ the Criterion. إِنَّ Verily, ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve[d] بِـَٔايَٰتِ in (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah,
لَهُمْ for them عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment شَدِيدٌ severe. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty, ذُو All-Able ٱنتِقَامٍ (of) retribution. إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah - لَا not يَخْفَىٰ is hidden
عَلَيْهِ from Him شَىْءٌ anything فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven. هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُصَوِّرُكُمْ shapes you
فِى in ٱلْأَرْحَامِ the wombs كَيْفَ how(ever) يَشَآءُ He wills. لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ Him, ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty, ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise. هُوَ He
ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَنزَلَ revealed عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book, مِنْهُ of it ءَايَٰتٌ (are) Verses مُّحْكَمَٰتٌ absolutely clear - هُنَّ they (are) أُمُّ the foundation
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book, وَأُخَرُ and others مُتَشَٰبِهَٰتٌ (are) allegorical. فَأَمَّا Then as for ٱلَّذِينَ those فِى in قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts زَيْغٌ (is) perversity - فَيَتَّبِعُونَ [so] they follow
مَا what تَشَٰبَهَ (is) allegorical مِنْهُ of it, ٱبْتِغَآءَ seeking ٱلْفِتْنَةِ [the] discord وَٱبْتِغَآءَ and seeking تَأْوِيلِهِۦ its interpretation. وَمَا And not يَعْلَمُ knows تَأْوِيلَهُۥٓ its interpretation
إِلَّا except ٱللَّهُ Allah. وَٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ And those firm فِى in ٱلْعِلْمِ [the] knowledge, يَقُولُونَ they say, ءَامَنَّا "We believe بِهِۦ in it. كُلٌّ All مِّنْ (is) عِندِ from
رَبِّنَا our Lord." وَمَا And not يَذَّكَّرُ will take heed إِلَّآ except أُو۟لُوا۟ men ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ (of) understanding. رَبَّنَا "Our Lord! لَا (Do) not تُزِغْ deviate قُلُوبَنَا our hearts بَعْدَ after
إِذْ [when] هَدَيْتَنَا You (have) guided us, وَهَبْ and grant لَنَا (for) us مِن from لَّدُنكَ Yourself رَحْمَةً mercy. إِنَّكَ Indeed You, أَنتَ You ٱلْوَهَّابُ (are) the Bestower. رَبَّنَآ Our Lord!
إِنَّكَ Indeed, You جَامِعُ will gather ٱلنَّاسِ [the] mankind لِيَوْمٍ on a Day, لَّا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ in it. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يُخْلِفُ break ٱلْمِيعَادَ the Promise."
