يَٰٓأَيُّهَا

ٱلَّذِينَ

ءَامَنُوٓا۟
O you who believe! *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
إِذَا
When
نَٰجَيْتُمُ
you privately consult
ٱلرَّسُولَ
the Messenger,
فَقَدِّمُوا۟
then offer
بَيْنَ
before *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
يَدَىْ
before *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
نَجْوَىٰكُمْ
your private consultation,
صَدَقَةً charity. ذَٰلِكَ That خَيْرٌ (is) better لَّكُمْ for you وَأَطْهَرُ and purer. فَإِن But if لَّمْ not تَجِدُوا۟ you find, فَإِنَّ then indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving, رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful.
ءَأَشْفَقْتُمْ Are you afraid أَن to تُقَدِّمُوا۟ offer بَيْنَ before *[meaning includes next or prev. word] يَدَىْ before *[meaning includes next or prev. word] نَجْوَىٰكُمْ your private consultation صَدَقَٰتٍ charities? فَإِذْ Then when لَمْ you do not *[meaning includes next or prev. word] تَفْعَلُوا۟ you do not *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
وَتَابَ and Allah has forgiven *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ and Allah has forgiven *[meaning includes next or prev. word] عَلَيْكُمْ you, فَأَقِيمُوا۟ then establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer وَءَاتُوا۟ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah, وَأَطِيعُوا۟ and obey ٱللَّهَ Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger. وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do. أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see إِلَى [to] ٱلَّذِينَ those who تَوَلَّوْا۟ take as allies
قَوْمًا a people, غَضِبَ wrath ٱللَّهُ (of) Allah عَلَيْهِم (is) upon them? مَّا They (are) not *[meaning includes next or prev. word] هُم They (are) not *[meaning includes next or prev. word] مِّنكُمْ of you وَلَا and not مِنْهُمْ of them, وَيَحْلِفُونَ and they swear عَلَى to ٱلْكَذِبِ the lie
وَهُمْ while they يَعْلَمُونَ know. أَعَدَّ Allah has prepared *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah has prepared *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَهُمْ for them عَذَابًا a punishment شَدِيدًا severe. إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, [they] سَآءَ evil is مَا what كَانُوا۟ they used to
يَعْمَلُونَ do. ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ They have taken أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ their oaths جُنَّةً (as) a cover, فَصَدُّوا۟ so they hinder عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way of Allah, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهِ (the) way of Allah, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] فَلَهُمْ so for them
عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment مُّهِينٌ humiliating. لَّن Never تُغْنِىَ will avail عَنْهُمْ them أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth وَلَآ and not أَوْلَٰدُهُم their children مِّنَ against ٱللَّهِ Allah
شَيْـًٔا (in) anything. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those أَصْحَٰبُ (will be) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire, هُمْ they, فِيهَا in it, خَٰلِدُونَ will abide forever. يَوْمَ (On the) Day يَبْعَثُهُمُ Allah will raise them *[meaning includes next or prev. word]
ٱللَّهُ Allah will raise them *[meaning includes next or prev. word] جَمِيعًا all, فَيَحْلِفُونَ then they will swear لَهُۥ to Him كَمَا as يَحْلِفُونَ they swear لَكُمْ to you. وَيَحْسَبُونَ And they think أَنَّهُمْ that they
عَلَىٰ (are) on شَىْءٍ something. أَلَآ No doubt! إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they هُمُ [they] ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ (are) the liars. ٱسْتَحْوَذَ Has overcome عَلَيْهِمُ them ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ the Shaitaan,
فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ so he made them forget ذِكْرَ (the) remembrance ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah. أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those حِزْبُ (are the) party ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ (of) the Shaitaan. أَلَآ No doubt! إِنَّ Indeed, حِزْبَ (the) party ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ (of) the Shaitaan,
هُمُ they ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ (will be) the losers. إِنَّ Indeed, ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُحَآدُّونَ oppose ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ and His Messenger, أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those فِى (will be) among ٱلْأَذَلِّينَ the most humiliated.
كَتَبَ Allah has decreed, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] ٱللَّهُ Allah has decreed, *[meaning includes next or prev. word] لَأَغْلِبَنَّ "Surely, I will overcome, أَنَا۠ I وَرُسُلِىٓ and My Messengers." إِنَّ Indeed, ٱللَّهَ Allah قَوِىٌّ (is) All-Strong, عَزِيزٌ All-Mighty.
